Some comments:
I need to know more about Backlund in MOM and Foley's midget murderer storyline!
The thing with Funk, I believe, was when Foley was doing his heel turn in 2006, he wanted to voluntarily join the Kiss My Ass Club, but Funk would come out to try and talk him back to his senses. Instead, Edge and Foley would beat him up, then try to force him to kiss Vince's ass, only for Funk to instead take a huge chunk out of said ass.
As for my contribution to this list, I'm going to go with Honky Tonk Man refusing to drop the IC Title to Savage. If he had, Savage wouldn't have won the World title at WrestleMania IV and Honky wouldn't be nearly the household name he is today. And Warrior doesn't get his big moment at SummerSlam when he ended the 18 month title reign. Although, it's likely DiBiase would have won the WWF Championship...

Mick Foley having the balls to tell Vince that Mason the Mutilator was an awful idea Then he desperately suggested Mankind the Mutilator (and the mutilator got dropped, luckily for mick). I still think Mankind is a good name for an wrestler but it’s also quite an odd name. Mick sold it to Vince well though that when talking about mankind you could be talking about the wrestler or mankind as a whole.

Jim Cornette convincing the then Tyler Black not to sign with TNA. Jim claims that he locked himself in an office with Black to force him into not signing with TNA and took his cellphone away so he couldn’t make the biggest mistake of his life. Cornette saved Rollins’ life. I never knew that! Good on him

In Mick's Hardcore Diaries book, he says he pitched an idea for Terry Funk to be WWE champion. He spends a lot of time moaning that Vince ignored his idea. (someone can correct me if I'm wrong about this, I've only read it once because it's terrible) I think you are incorrect

(someone can correct me if I'm wrong about this, I've only read it once because it's terrible) I don't recall that, but there is a whole lot of whining about how he wanted a storyline with Funk biting Vince's ass and he wanted the match to main-event.

Here's a big one: After Vince McMahon, age 12, met his father for the first time and started spending time with him, Vince begged to be trained as a wrestler. Sr refused to let him and Vince started paying attention to the other aspects of the show instead.

If Vince Jr became Dr Jerry Graham’s protege like he originally wanted, Jr would’ve become a junkie and died.

Some comments: I need to know more about Backlund in MOM and Foley's midget murderer storyline! I could be wrong but I think people are getting the Mick one from his second book. He did a whole chapter about some messed up storyline that involves dwarfs and maybe poisoning, it sounds really dark. But then the punchline is "i just described the plot to snow white" or something like that Basically it's to make a point about people saying the attitude era was terrible and offensive etc. Mick did that a lot in that book, that and comparing pro wrestling to other "fake" things like talk shows

Jim Cornette convincing the then Tyler Black not to sign with TNA. Holy shit. That itself might be the biggest contribution he's had to wrestling this decade. Well, that and the whole "saving ROH from bankruptcy" stufff.

The Shield saying "f***ing no" to losing to Cena or whoever it was supposed to be. It led to the Shield being a super protected act that was constantly treated as a big deal.
Now, of course, each member of the Shield went on to be pretty great in their own right BUT consider this.
Because the Shield were constantly treated as a big deal, Daniel Bryan was able to be in high-profile six-man matches and collectively grab the attention of the wrestling world with his babyface fire and tremendous comebacks.
The attention he got in those six man tags lead to Bryan being a permanant main eventer, eventually culminating in his WM 30 win.
There's a very real chance that Bryan would have never caught fire if the Shield didn't fight so heavily for themselves to be protected.

Mid Night Express and Cornette not going to the wwf.
Vince would’ve given them a southern stereotype gimmicks and it would’ve killed their careers.

Of all the weird thing Vince book in WWE, frozen nazi and a guy getting a boob job is where Vince draws the line at. For what it’s worth, he didn’t despise the boob job angle and actually Vince considered it but at the end realized that it was the wrong kind of heat. Speaking of the wrong kind of heat, if they went along with this proposed match, the wwe would’ve died. The angry backlash from fans, networks, and sponsors would’ve left in masses. Apparently in wm 12, Roddy Piper’s original opponent was OJ Simpson. This was right after the murder trial ended and because they were desperate and losing money, this was the awful new generation era after all, Vince actually contacted OJ’s people and he accepted to do it. At the end Vince realized how bad it would look and how it would be received so poorly so he cancelled and put Goldust on OJ’s place. I just can’t ever see them ever getting to the point where the match happened. The show was in Anaheim - an hour down the road from where the murders took place. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Pond would have broke their agreement to hold the event had this match actually been announced. And can you imagine Piper’s promos? Yikes. What a mess that would’ve been. The match likely wouldn’t have happened after it was announced and it still might’ve killed the company.
