Owen Hart getting an upset win over his brother at WrestleMania X. It was the first really good wrestling match I ever saw, so that one feels special to me. Still my favourite wrestling match to this day.

Still my favourite wrestling match to this day. I love that match, there are so many little things I love about it. Speaking of X, Bret winning and the celebration felt like a start to the new era. Owen staring him down from the entrance was a great moment. Really established that this would be the big feud for quite awhile.

Here’s a controversial one... Bret Hart at WM26. Yes, the “match” was an ten minute abomination that went ten minutes too long. It was 99% Bret kicking the shit out of Vince and it had a false Hart family heel turn that Anne Frank could see coming a mile off. Yet, I got to see Bret Hart have (at the time anyway) one more match. After everything Bret went through with the company and his personal life, I got a bit teary-eyed to see him back in a ring. With that night and Shawn’s retirement speech the next night where he spoke of how he and Bret had finally buried the hatchet, it seemed like Bret was finally letting go of all that hate that had been eating up at him for a decade. Would I put it as one of those unarguable Wereetlemania moments that everyone can agree on? Nope. (Which I suppose goes against the nature of the thread itself). But it was for me anyway, a very special moment. I came into this thread to post this, so you're not alone. It was objectively shit, but closure an enormous part of wrestling history and a great visual.

In person, seeing Jeff leap off the ladder on Edge at the MitB match at WM23.
Others, seeing HHH, HBK and Taker walking up the ramp together at End of an Era. That should have been "it" for all three of them.

The finish of Rock/Cena at Mania 28. That crowd went absolutely insane. Have to agree with this, it was great seeing The Rock finally standing tall to close a WrestleMania, even though it should have happened 12 years earlier. Daniel Bryan's return to the ring last year.

Elizabeth rushing the ring and pulling sherry off of savage. And the rest of the segment is imo the greatest Wrestlemania moment of all time.

Moments that stand out to me as epic:
WM1: Liberace and the Rockettes cemented WM as more than just a big wrestling show WM2: Battle Royal with NFL stars and Ray Charles singing America the Beautiful WM3: Hogan slams Andre and announcement of record breaking attendance WM4: nothing really since Hogan ruined the tournament WM5: nothing WM6: Warrior holding the belt while Hogan rides the cart backstage WM7: Savage career ending/reuniting with Liz WM8: Savage celebrating title win with Liz WM9: nothing WMX: nothing
After this they tend to run together for me.

Virtually all of the moments have been pointed out in the last three pages, but something really eye-opening to me about reading all of these great “moments" is how many of them were damaged if not outright ruined by later events.
-Zack Ryder winning the IC title at 32. Great moment at the time, but essentially nullified by having him job out to The Miz the next night and being relegated back to the undercard very quickly.
-Hogan passing the torch to Warrior at 6. Warrior being at the top so briefly before being phased out takes the luster off of this moment unfortunately.
-Undertaker laying down his gloves at 33. This was seen as a great moment at the time because it seemed fairly certain that it was his retirement. Obviously this didn’t hold true.
-Eddie celebrating with Benoit at 20. Do I really have to explain this one?
There’s tons more, but those are just some examples of what I’m talking about that spring to mind.

I actually think the most epic moment of Warrior vs Hogan was the start of the match with the crowd going crazy.

Me getting lost in the stadium, at 29. Ironically, that was Dean's first WM.
