and I love it. I told myself when I started playing world of warcraft again that I woudn't get hooked, that I'd just play and enjoy, but I'm hooked again. Sitting at work, all I want to do is go home and get on, because I need my fix.

I never really enjoyed the game, but to each his own.
I'm not a big fan of online RPGs for the most part.

Most of my friends aren't into the RPG genre either, and I really wasn't for the longest time. For some rason, though, it's just fun to relieve stress by going online and destroying an entire town.

I dunno, I like RPGs...just not the online ones. I've never been able to get into them...except City of Heroes...and even that, I get tired of pretty easily.

I find its the peaple that ruin MMORPGs (the mega fanbois of it, not the normal peaple)

Yeah, bad communities are one of my problems with MMOs. There are a host of others, but bad communities seem to plague most of them.

Yeah, seriously...self-righteous arrogant people like that get on my nerves in a hurry. They think because you just started the game you're somehow a total loser, and they're the bee's knees.
The only game I haven't really experienced that on is CoH...and the people that DO do that on CoH really aren't all that high level and I caught up to them pretty quickly, noticing them around Paragon.
Ah well...as I said though...MMO's just aren't my thing. I always end up feeling like I'm just doing the same thing over and over, and there's never really a truly compelling story to make it feel less unpleasant.

We can't talk about this here. I've escaped, I don't need the temptation.

Sitting at work, all I want to do is go home and get on, because I need my fix. Burning Crusade is seriously starting to break my addiction. The new endgame is total garbage of endless flask farming with little to no reward for the time it takes to learn a new raid encounter. The head devs really have no clue on what motivates players. Tier 4 armor should be > Tier 3 armor, but no its garbage, its mostly a downgrade from the lv70 5 man dungeons. Totally awesome that all my time spent learning some intricate boss fight is rewarded with something less then what I had at 60. Practically I have more fun trolling the WOW forums then actually playing the game now...

I didn't like WoW, personally. I liked CoH's PvE content a lot more, though neither of them have even remotely passable PvP that I saw. That's why I like Dark Age of Camelot so much. I have so many friends in that game still..... sigh... my account ran out on March 10th. Going to have to resubscribe in a few months once my sister is married and I can afford it again.
I can not wait for Age of Conan. I wish I hadn't gotten kicked out of the Beta.
