Expected, but still excellent news. Wonder how quick the turn around will be since we supposed to have that Penguin series and the Gotham PD series which I think was put on hold

Eh. Hopefully they have more development on the Bruce Wayne character and there's some difference between the attitudes of Batman and Bruce.

Eh. Hopefully they have more development on the Bruce Wayne character and there's some difference between the attitudes of Batman and Bruce. I'm sure there will be. The point of this one was the fact that he never saw the point in having an alternate life outside of Batman since he was solely devoted to vengeance. With a stronger focus on bringing hope to Gotham, there's all the more reason to reach through Bruce Wayne as much as Batman. Him saving the boy twice, once as Bruce and the Batman, proved he can make a difference in both parts of his life if he cared to.

Right He neglected being Bruce because he didn't think he can make a difference and with his influence and how f***ed Gotham once at the end of the movie, this is where Bruce could make his work and make as much a difference as Batman

I really want the next movie to have Robin. It feels like a good time for that kind of dynamic, kind of Bruce having to find a different sort of responsibility and selflessness while he's still kind of needing to find himself as a hero.

I feel like it's certainly possible, given the emphasis put on legacy, that Alfred and Bruce don't have anyone else in terms of family, all that. So, I could see it.

I liked The Batman a great deal more on my second watch so I'm glad we're getting more.

Seen some killer croc suggestions on my twitter timeline. I'd like to see it That would require a director to not do a "grounded, realistic take."

Honestly Croc isn't that hard to do a pretty grounded depiction of, just do a dude who has gigantism and a skin condition. The bigger issue I think you run into with Croc is that he'd be hard to center a movie around on his own, you kind of need some other villain to do the heavy-lifting of the narrative.

Even if you dont have Robin have Dick Grayson. Bruce can take him in and begin his training at the end. Then he can be ready in the next film. One thing I really hate is the Batman Forever take where this kid is ready to be Batmans partner right away. Dick can be a prodigy because of his acrobat background but he should still need extensive training, especially as this Batman is more of a detective compared to the other cinema Batmen.

IIRC Croc was more intelligent in his first appearances. Lean into him being a brainy bruiser and he could pull off being a primary movie foe. And it would mean we avoid another Bane for a little while.

Yeah, I was about to say Croc has been shown as intelligent in the past so I wouldn't think it would be that hard and you can borrow some Bane elements so I wouldn't mind seeing Killer Croc Black Mask I think can work really well. I wouldn't mind a different pick like Calendar Man as well. You can make him pretty f***ed up and have Batman go to Riddler for help if you are going to a reverse Long Halloween vibes

I absolutely loved Origins. The boss fights were much better than Asylum and City. I still need to get a physical copy for my XB1 to complete the set. For some bizarre reason you can't get a digital copy in the Xbox store.
