Delighted to see this news - very worthy induction, and i’m thrilled Bret and Jimmy will become two-time inductees.
Of course Jim should be there, but given his history and then his illness at the end then there might have only really been a slim window that he could’ve been inducted, so I don’t blame WWE for this one as much as I do with Vader for example.
The Owen situation means that the faction can’t go in as things stand, so I’m very happy to get the tag team in at least. It’s certainly deserved.

Bret fist pumps on his own, saying 'yessss, f*** Ric Flair.' Then he texts Shane Douglas.

Uncle Bret being a two-time Hall of Famer? That’s pretty insane. I could see them inducting the stable down the road, making him a 3-time inductee. The 1990 Survivor Series Dream Team (Dusty, Koko and Hart Foundation) has been fully inducted, making it the third team from that ppv to have all members go in.

I like that Bret and Anvil are going in, but were they really managed by Jimmy Hart long enough for him to be in the induction as well? Maybe i'm remembering wrong, but I don't remember Jimmy being with them for all that long. Jimmy managed them from ‘85 to ‘88 including their first reign as the WWF tag champs.

They should have done this when The Anvil was still alive. I don’t agree with that. Growing up, The Anvil was one of my favourite guys and when my friends and I were wrestling I always pretended to be him. But I just don’t think his singles career was worthy of induction. Yes, as a tag team The Harts could have gone in at any point but The Anvil was not high on the list of overdue inductions. I meant the whole Hart Foundation induction.

Oh wow, I think someone around her mentioned the Foundation going in. Good call. are the British Bulldogs not in the Hall of Fame? Nope. I'll assume Dynamite was against it while he was alive and Vince complied.....now that he's gone, depends on if his heirs (if any?) want him/them in.

They should have made it the 1997 Hart Foundation. That way, Owen gets into the HOF by association and Martha can't do anything about it so long as they don't use Owen's name to promote it.

So.......why no announcement/video package on RAW?. I actually didn’t fall asleep this week So far it's just a report from pwinsider saying that the Hart Foundation are going to be inducted. The thread title is a bit misleading and should probably be changed though. That said, they only have eight more episodes of RAW until Mania. Unless they plan on announcing something on Smackdown Live tonight, they're going to need every last RAW to announce this class. Provided they're not changing it up from six inductees, one celebrity, and one Warrior Award recipient.

I think they maybe just didn't want to have people pulling, "Hyuck hyuck, Koko!" shit about the induction, because wrestling fans have the tact of a gorilla with explosive diarrhea sometimes. Aaaaaaaaaaand I think I just found a new way of describing someone with zero tact.

WWE's issue is the bad PR that would come from ignoring the wishes of Owen's widow. They don't want to announce Owen for the HoF, then have Martha publicly remind everyone of her position.

I'm just wondering when they're going to put the tickets on sale at this point. Still nothing even announced yet and there are only eight weeks to go - unless they're sitting on something big like Taker then the place is probably going to be a ghost town at this point just due to people having not really had time to slot it into their weekend schedule.

Guesses for the rest of the class: Christian (inducted by Edge) Matt Hardy (inducted by Jeff) Bam Bam Bigelow (inducted by Heyman, unless Tazz is on good terms with the WWE) Molly Holly (inducted by Trish) Batista (inducted by HHH) Celeb: Ozzy Osbourne (inducted by Austin)

I'm still waiting for WWE to officially confirm that The Original Hart Foundation (Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart and their manager Jimmy Hart) will actually be inductees of the 2019 class of the WWE Hall of Fame.
I won't be completely convinced that this PWInsider report is fully accurate until WWE officially confirms it to be true themselves.
For so many years, I've desperately wanted The Original Hart Foundation faction to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a faction. The Original Hart Foundation really should have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a faction while Neidhart was still living. Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart are by far one of the very best tag teams that there's ever been in professional wrestling. Bret and Jim are such an extremely iconic tag team and they're a tag team that really needs to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
It's so extremely sad that Neidhart won't be alive to enjoy his eventual induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. Vince McMahon should be ashamed of himself for constantly refusing to put Neidhart into the WWE Hall of Fame while Neidhart was still living.
Had Neidhart still been alive today,
then my belief is that there would have been zero chance of Vince legitimately considering to have Neidhart
as a possible inductee of the 2019 class of the WWE Hall of Fame.
For so many years, lots and lots and lots of huge fans of the 1980's and early 1990's WWF era (including myself) have been demanding
Vince McMahon to agree to put The Original Hart Foundation faction into the WWE Hall of Fame as a faction.
Yes, I know that Bret Hart and Jimmy Hart would be joining Ric Flair as the only two-time WWE Hall of Fame inductees whenever
The Original Hart Foundation faction gets inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

I remember Bret not being too happy with the speech he gave when he was inducted because he was still suffering from lingering health issues due to his stroke. He’s my favorite of all time, so I’m very happy he’ll get some what of a do over.

I'm happy to see the hart foundation being inducted, but I get why the WWE isn't induction the faction. I'd imagine they'd have someone talk on each member's behalf (Bret for Bret, Nattie for Anvil, Jimmy for Jimmy, DH Smith or Diana for Davey, Jr. for Pillman), then who would speak for Owen? From what I've read, Martha and the kids have pretty much segregated themselves from the family for years and their position is well documented on Owen's association with the WWE. I think that would be extremely awkward to try to pull off.

There are now seven RAW's until Mania. I'm guessing WWE is hoping Big Dave says yes to a match and the Hall of Fame. But they have got to start selling tickets soon.

The '97 Hart Foundation will never go in as long as Martha, Oje and Athena feel the way they do about WWE. The only way the faction could go in is if they pretend Owen was never part of it, and there's no point in doing that.
