So I had another of my many fanfic ideas I'll never likely make (Survivor: Mortal Kombat vs. Touhou Project), and I had an idea for a secret advantage that I don't recall being used on Survivor yet: the bearer can challenge the current Individual Immunity holder, before voting begins at any pre-Final Five Tribal Council, to a fire-making contest. If the challenger wins, they get the Immunity, but if they lose, they lose their vote that TC. Does that sound like a thing that could work or is it, well, to steal a term from the WWE board, too OP? Given that modern Survivor is devolving into fan fiction written by Jeff Probst himself, this totally sounds like a twist they’d try on the show now.

Since we're talking about advantage twists we've thought up, I've thought of an alternative to the Hidden Immunity Idol: the Immunity Token. They're hidden like idols, and they're played at the same time during a TC, but they only negate 1 vote per token, and technically only if the person has had votes cast against them at that TC. But there will be more of them floating around the island, and whoever finds any of them can use as many of them as they want, for themselves and/or anyone else, for any TC. Yes, this even includes the last vote before the final TC on Day 38, and will even include the Final TC on Day 39! Any finalist with any immunity tokens still in their possession can use them for additional votes for themselves to win the game. (Also, since we're talking about fanfic crossovers involving Survivor, I've been wanting some sort of Survivor/WWE mashup ever since the WWE Crush Hour intro with the short clips of 2 Divas trying to make a campfire on the beach: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4W7mRmyH788&t=49s )

Also, since when is it okay to go through someone’s bag, wasn’t that a rule?

How have I not noticed until now how tall Lauren is?
I know people hate all the idols, but it’s not hard to stop Devens or anyone else, just stop being complacent and letting the desperate person find them.
Possible bad move for Gavin

All Rick has to do is be quiet and let everybody vote for him.
Use your idol and your one vote is enough to send somebody home. It’s foolproof as long as he keeps quiet.

Also, a bothersome trend...
In these scenarios, when one person is relying on idols or immunity to stay in the game, why don’t people take them on the rewards to reduce the time they have to search for idols?

Man, Devens is the king.
They have to make sure he doesn’t get in front of the jury because he’s going to win the game in a walk if he does.

Not for one second did I think Devens was playing that idol.
ESPECIALLY once Aurora mentioned how it could be fake, Devens would obviously save it so he can try and team with the returning EoE player, and have an insurance policy if Aurora or someone who doesn’t want to work with him comes back.
He read that Aurora was the odd woman out and took full advantage.
Now, the real question is, who was dumber, the other three for falling for the trap, or Aurora for accidentally helping Rick keep his idol?

Unless he’s up against someone very likable who returned from EoE. That said, if Devens loses the final vote to the returnee, it will be an actual crime. Especially if it’s Reed and her “No, it’s the children who are wrong.” attitude.

Possible bad move for Gavin On the other hand shows like BB/Survivor people get called to Production confessionals, and they are probably forbidden from shadowing someone while doing a confessional on Survivor so they are kind of cockblocked from following someone 24*7 if Production wants to give someone time to sneak away

My thoughts/predictions on those left in the game:
Devens: The obvious favorite at this point, as much as he annoys me. His edit does seem a little too good to be true so he may go out 4th or 5th but if he makes the finals, he's definitely winning.
Victoria: Her edit reminds me of the one Kara got last season, so I'm predicting she goes out in the fire-making challenge. A good player who's always on the right side of the vote, but it doesn't feel like enough.
Lauren: A dark horse pick to win. My only hangup is that she's been portrayed as a little irrelevant at times. Still, she could win and I wouldn't be surprised.
Gavin: Hmm, not sure. Another dark horse pick to win, maybe? I have no idea what to say about him.
Julie: Definitely feel like she's in the final 3. Whether or not she wins is another matter, of course.
I feel like the next EoE returnee will get voted out immediately.
I can't wait to be wrong about all of this!

So have the oddsmakers made the odds yet for EoE challenge? Is it Joey Amazing vs the field? I really feel like the next retuneee is winning. But again will it be a 15 person jury?

Devens pulled out an all time great move if you ask me. We saw Lauren, Victoria, and Gavin all thinking about voting out Aurora. None of them can claim any type of credit for that move even if they decided to vote her out before tribal council. In the eyes of the jury that was all Devens’ move right there. Brilliant on his part.
