Went to Revpro's epic encounter last night and enjoyed it. I'd heard York Hall could be a nightmare but security and the bar was fine, could take drinks to seats etc. Seats were uncomfortable on the balcony but good view. Ospreay Vs Slater was excellent. ZSJ and Breaks were doing things I'm not sure I've seen before. Everything else was mostly good but ott on ref bumps and shenanigans, the woman's match in particular was just dumb with multiple refs running off to follow a brawl to the back. The Great O'Khan isn't my cup of tea but brawling through the crowd and those shenanigans covered many of his weaknesses. Went to Eve last week too. Travel issues/injury caused some card issues but Billie starkz Vs Nina Samuels and Miyu Yamashita Vs Rhio were great. Yeah, York Hall can sometimes be a great venue to go to and a good venue marred by security being unnecessarily stingy with stuff and even with that, I've been there enough to have seen Steen and Devitt's last matches before going to NXT and Tanahashi and Nakamura a not insignificant number of times. I paid attention to Epic Encounter because, hey, I'm going to the 11th Anniversary Show and would like to have some more matches and from what the Twitters have said, they haven't announced bad matches, just lacking in star power. From what you saw there, do you reckon we're getting Slater/Maloney considering Ospreay's already got Shingo? A potential Oku/Seven match seems on the cards too but it also feels a bit lacking compared to what could be. I'm genuinely bummed I missed out on the Choco Pro show happening before Rev Pro but the tickets were too much at the time but I'm going to live in hope until the show ends haha. We also realized our chances of making the Super Show from the Copper Box is basically non-existant considering when that show might end. EDIT: Also, yeah, the f*** was up with that Women's title match? And it was supposed to be a unification one too?

Yeah those matches seem most likey as do: ZSJ vs Ricky Knight Jr JJ Gale vs Fujita (I think, mic was crap) Revpro's time management was surprisingly good and Eve is always crap if that helps but yeah wish I could go to the Chocopro one too but aew travel plans were in place before it was announced. Oh I forgot to mention I clinked beers with Session Moth Martina which eased the pain of London beer prices. I dread what Wembley will charge.

Yeah, those two were the ones I saw on Twitter so that lines up. RKJ's made some kind of presence for himself in OTT after being Eddie Kingston's replacement for some of the shows here and in Wolves so I'm sure he's not bad. Rev Pro's always had good time management somewhat, probably better than most I've watched so not really a surprise. Probably a reason they were able to get the Copper Box as much as they have. I was tempted to go to the Riot Cabaret show but it might start just as I'm arriving to my hotel on Friday so that's a no go which sucks because I hear only fun things.

A friend kept my positivity up about getting some, because I missed out on the original batch and was quite sad about it. I have a carer ticket which my friend bought over the phone so there was no option to buy it when bought the tickets. It was put on twitter that there was more released and I was straight on it then. I do feel TK is leaving money on the table by not doing a proper Fan Fest convention before All In on the Friday or Saturday like they do with the American PPVs though.

Agreed completely but I can also imagine trying to book a venue in Central London near the end of the Summer sounds like hell on Earth with the amount of conventions that usually happen on a weekly basis.

Very true didn't think of that. Not ideal is it. Hopefully the next AEW show they will announce one. I am going to assume they will announce a future show at Wembley, whether that is a week of TV or a PPV again. Too much of a success already not to.

Yeah, so Mickie James is appearing at the RevPro 11th Anniversary show.
If there was a name I didn’t expect to tick off my bucket list that weekend…
EDIT: I heard about it first because my brother screamed down the phone whilst we were talking “MICKIE JAMES!” without context.

This seems like a good a place as any to ask, but is there a resource out there that lists UK wrestling show dates? Seems that time and time again I miss shows I would have attended had I seen it ahead of time since it's almost impossible to keep up with all of the promotions unless you happen to follow them all on Twitter.

^^ I doubt it. Even the bigger companies struggle to keep their own websites up to date and it's often difficult to work out the card ahead of time outside bigger matches/shows. There is often a mailing list though, could sign up for them.
It's really annoying when you miss something you'd probably have gone to, while I get they have no budget for marketing it must limit growth.

There was an app for it but it got shut down a while ago, which sucks because it was cool to see who was at a show and where it was. You could even search by location for promotions still doing shows.

You could even search by location for promotions still doing shows. That is a shame, that would have been perfect. I don't get to nearly as many shows as I'd like, but it blows my mind when I see wrestlers who are over here after the fact that you would think would be far bigger news and yet I saw nothing about. Case in point, an ad came up for a show up in Manchester from a promotion I'd never heard of that has a load of the Gatoh Pro wrestlers appearing on it. Admittedly I wouldn't be able to go this time because of All In, but it was only due to an algorithm dumping it on my timeline that I'd have ever known about it anyway. Feels like there should be a more foolproof method than that.

Eve x choco pro kicked off with a banger of an Eve title match and then a chaotic trio. On recent form it won't be up long so watch quickly. Starts about 22 mins in (slow start but gets better). www.youtube.com/live/q84vr_vGWLU?feature=shared

If you can cope through RevPro’s commentary, I can’t recommend Luke Jacobs/Tomohiro Ishii enough. It’s genuinely the match of the weekend so far for me and I’m so glad I saw it live.

So, my local promotion True Grit had a show last night with a main event of Kidd Bandit vs Commander Steph Sterling in a No DQ match Match included pokeballs full of thumbtacks, Yugioh cards used for a papercut spot, and a barbed wire IKEA shark. Oh, and Bandit brestled with a possible broken eye socket, because Codymania This sounds incredible, where is this promotion?

The Leeds shows are great because they're in a venue that used to be a church, and the visuals are amazing.
