I will never understand the love for Scott Hall's sloppy, open-handed, slaps-punches. And Austin tends to admit he just punches people, so if we're going that route I vote Terry Funk. I remember seeing a vid of Terry just teeing off of Abdullah The Butcher.

I mean, good on him for following the rules, I guess. Vader also just pretty much punched guys, they'd get pretty battered. I think Funk sometimes just punched guys, too. Mick told a story in one of his books about being so excited to take his first Funk punch, and just got socked in the head, with Terry laughing when Mick told him, saying, "You just thought I was that good?" Obviously, there's still some working going on there, or else people would get Becky'd, but I imagine welts, etc, were common. This was a WCW thing, but I love that Lance Storm had a match with Dr. Death where his worked punches looked so good that guys in the back were rallying up to confront him in the back when the match was over, thinking he was taking liberties with Lance, only for him to tell them he didn't feel a thing.

Bret and Macho immediately sprung to mind.
Altho I am starting to really dig Velveteen's "wrench all the way back and clock someone" punches.

Where specific strikes are concerned, always loved Boss Man's uppercut. I know the windup seems hokey by modern standards, but the actual punch always looked good.
Tempted to vote Vader or Austin, as they have my favorite looking punches overall, but I'm pretty sure they were just stiffing people.

Couple dudes:
HHH, Angle, Austin, Rock. Loved their punches. They’re so easy to picture and distinct.

Maybe I’m in the minority but I always thought Matt Hardy threw good looking punches.

Baron Corbin has the best punching on the current roster.

Maybe I’m in the minority but I always thought Matt Hardy threw good looking punches. Which is funny because his brother's punches suck by contrast.

Good worked punches are kind of a Memphis wrestling calling card, so Lawler wins this.

Uhm, hello? Undertaker? Best pure striker and all that jazz? Undertaker's flurry of punches in the corner are second only to Shane McMahon's.
