I'm beginning to think if this works out, Nia will end up facing Lashley for the IC title at WM. Really.

Jonesboro isn't too many hours away from here so if I wanted to go I could peep it. Problem is that nah it ain't worth it. I haven't been interested in seeing a WWE show since the days of the Shield's first run. Live shows are still fun. The non-televised ones are usually the most entertaining.

Thought WWE was against Inter Gender matches.

Thought WWE was against Inter Gender matches. This one is an exception because they clearly want to ruin Ambrose stock by giving him the 1999 Jarrett treatment.

Doing the job on the way out isn’t a WWE only thing. Vince and Ambrose are very close so it isn’t some personal vendetta against him I’m sure. And no casual fan in this day and age cares about that type of stuff.

Dean vs Nia would draw as his final feud.

Ambrose losing to a woman would kill his f***ing career. No thank you. like Jericho losing to Chyna in 1999? I mean it depends how it's booked, Marc Mero is the only real example I can think of when losing to a woman hurt his career

I'll be very interested in hearing how the live crowd reacted to this. Doing this in the south, where people are a bit more marky and more conservative is an interesting test run, because I think this would go over more in a smart crowd market like the Northeast or West Coast

Nia Jax is literally just a large woman... there’s a difference. It would be like Steve Austin losing to Bertha Faye. If you’re gonna do a “Nia Jax vs a man” storyline, keep one of your best f***ing talents out of it. There’s plenty of guys that would fill that role perfectly without making someone credible and popular look stupid. Ronda would be even more believable in this role due to her MMA experience. I could believe that she could break the arm off a few guys.

That’s why certain wrestlers are so protective of who they face and lose to. That’s what keeps them credible. Ambrose had serious main event potential. They botched the heel turn so hard, losing to Nia Jax would be the icing on the cake.

No Ambrose is respected by the fans too much for that to be his lasting legacy in the WWE, if he loses to Nia will likely just be a footnote in his career. And at least Nia is over (whether people like her or not), Ambrose losing to the likes of EC3 clean are worse for him then losing to Nia

No one will give a shit if he loses to Nia. Yeah, and I seriously doubt he cares that much as he’s already on his way out and it’s sort of the norm to go out taking Ls. Besides, whether we like it or not, Nia is over. Plus, like someone said, this’ll only be a footnote in his already stacked and memorable WWE career.

Taking a L to an upcomer like him who’s won world titles in other companies is nowhere near close to losing to a woman. Seriously I can’t be the only one that thinks this, can I? Not only is it unbelievable but it’s insulting to ask a great wrestler like Ambrose to do that. He should be headlining Mania, not jobbing to chicks. It’s ridiculous man. Do it with someone like Hawkins or Slater. Don’t sabotage a former WWE Champ.

Nia is over because she was the “woman in a man’s match”... they could have put Tamina in that spot and the reaction would be the same. I wonder if guys like Undertaker, HHH, Michaels and Hogan would be under the impression that “losing to a woman wouldn’t kill my career!”... these guys wouldn’t even take a loss to Booker T. They would walk out of the company quicker.

Ask yourself if you are the only one thinking it's a big deal, then for the majority of most people maybe it's not going to effect his legacy one bit. I get that you think he should be headlining Mania because there is plenty of people I would want in a higher position then they are now, and reality is being a former WWE champ doesn't always mean anything, look at Jinder now

They would walk out of the company quicker. That’s because those dudes had huge egos and their own personal opinion on themselves. Dean doesn’t come across as someone who’d care if they lost to a woman. Nia has always been over. Tamina wouldn’t have gotten the same reaction as it isn’t believable that she could take out the men. Not like Nia.

I think it’s pretty dumb tbh. I know deans on the way out but I’m sure he will come back at some point. Just have him do a program with Alister black or Finn before heading out
