Becky vs Dean would have been amazing. Unlike Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose won't back down from a beating from The Man.

All I know, is that whilst I’m not into intergender wrestling, when I showed this image to my non wrestling fan girlfriend and a couple of my female friends, they thought it was awesome. Specifically, the fact that Nia looked like an equal physically to Ambrose and that the match was happening at all.
So for me, that’s pretty great.

Yeh i'm glad WWE is starting to push a little more into it.Even later you have girls like Charlotte which look just as big muscle wise as Rollins. And of course Ronda which could legit beat almost any of the guys in a shoot fight We had Becky vs Ellsoworth but it was pretty much just Becky in a one sided squash.

Jeff Jarret: Do it, kid. I jobbed to a broad on my way out, and look how I turned out. Dean: My god. I need to go talk to Vince. I mean, Jarrett left and became an overpushed top guy in WCW, and was the Triple H of early TNA. So he honestly did way better for himself after jobbing to Chyna.

It would be nice if the woman they're using in an intergender program was good at any facet of wrestling. But at least this keeps Nia from stinking up the women's division, if only temporarily.
As for Ambrose, I can't imagine this is going to affect him much honestly. Kayfabe is basically dead; wherever Ambrose ends up he's gonna' be looked at as sympathetic and professional.

That, and the big payment Jarrett extracted to do it.

Maybe Dean can cop a feel Renee: "Not even Dean Ambrose can resist The Irresistable Force!"

I'm let down, since that would have been interesting, but given I'd just be seeing a shitty fancam version, no massive loss.

It was too good to be true. WWE would never book anything so interesting.

I can 100% understand their desire to avoid this.
Kinda sucks though, they've done so well elevating Becky but the division needs more than just a few established top level acts. I really do think this could have helped Nia get closer due to mystique since she's lacking in so many other areas.

Finish is Renee hits Nia with a roll of quarters. Better than Edge with his stack of dimes.

I'm not surprised, some of the reaction online for the Rumble spot was bad enough. I can only imagine the shit storm if Dean was to somehow win.

So I guess the talk about this has pushed it to Ambrose's WM match.

Jeff Jarrett jobbed to Chyna (who wasn't even as physically intimidating as Nia Jax IMO) Exactly. Chyna may have been built like a man, but she was smaller than almost every guy she stepped in the ring with at that point. She had dropped a lot of muscle mass from her pre-surgery days. Nia is physically larger than all but a handful of guys on the roster. She's got something like 40lbs on Ambrose, so she's more than believable as a physical threat. Chyna was only 2 inches shorter than Nia Jax but I would have bought her as more of a threat. Even though she did eventually shed some of the muscle she still looked pretty powerful. Nia could use the weight advantage perhaps. Finish is Renee hits Nia with a roll of quarters. Better than Edge with his stack of dimes. Rey must have been pissed when Edge dropped them.

WWE promoted an intergender singles match for Dean Ambrose vs Nia Jax on February 22nd. Then they turned around today and said that the match isn’t happening in spite of promoting that it would take place.
Ringside News has been told there is a rumor in WWE that the decision was made to cancel this match because they got a rather unpleasant call from a sponsor. The specific sponsor was not named, but the idea is that WWE received a call from a company saying that they don’t want to deal with a company that supports intergender wrestling.
Sponsors can cause WWE to change things. They are just about the only ones because fans don’t pay the company nearly as much money as sponsors do. For whatever reason, this intergender match was nixed. If it really was due to a sponsor complaining then you can probably bet that WWE won’t be featuring intergender matches for a while.
Heh, basically what I figured.
