At the end of the day, how much money are we talking about here? Is he living so large off voice acting it’s worth more to pursue this nonsense than to quietly shuffle off and look for a new job? Extremely doubtful, while he is a bigger name voice actors don't tend to make a huge amount of money. And really he probably could've still gotten work in the field if he'd kept his mouth shut and laid low for a bit, while now people are going to be a lot more gunshy about hiring him because there's a chance he might turn around and sue them if they let him go, plus all the bad PR.

Anime voice acting doesn’t really pay that highly in an of itself, which is why a lot of anime voice actors are ecstatic to get a recurring role in a long running shonen action show, because it means some semblance of a steady paycheck. The real money maker for a lot of anime voice actors is conventions, where they can easily make a few grand for a 3 day event if they have a high enough profile role. In Vic’s particular case, the cons were actually his main source of income the last few years because his amount of new roles has steadily dried up. With this basically killing what remained of his voice acting career in anime and now looking like his career on the con circuit is also evaporating(to my knowledge the last cons this year that originally scheduled him that still have him on schedule is this month), more than anything else this seems like him desperate for one last big pay day to me. Otherwise his only options left are to return to doing voiceovers for Christian audiobooks and other media, and the audiobook versions of erotic romance novels starring gay werewolves.

So long as we're dredging up weird past projects, I guess at least you can say this for Vic - at least he isn't the person associated with Fullmetal Alchemist who previously wrote a story where America was conquered by Jewish bankers.

The head writer for the 2003 anime beforehand worked on an OVA series called Angel Cop, where for no apparent reason that was a random background detail. It served so little purpose that the OVA was able to cut it entirely, it was just... there for some reason.

The true crime here still is the 2003 version of FMA Honestly I think it's vastly better than Brotherhood, mostly since it has decent pacing instead of the, "Let's rush through all the shit the supposedly unrelated show already did, then move as slowly as possible through the new content," approach Brotherhood takes, and also since it does a better job of wrangling in the gigantic cast. Like, the only thing I really think is even debatable is the ending and even then I feel like they're both stupid. And I guess maybe the question of Dante vs. Father. They both suck but it kind of comes down to if you prefer Dante being completely incompetent but having some kind of personality, or Father just being a generic MWAHAHAHA villain but an actual threat. I'm personally more partial to Dante.

Must every single, solitary thing conspiracy-related come back to Jews in some way?
Any sort of bigotry and any sort of conspiracy theory comes back to them at some point. Even if it has absolutely nothing to do with them.
I don't get it.

Over 2000 years of systemic religious intolerance and racism, including multiple attempts of genocide, doesn't go away overnight unfortunately. It's something of a minor miracle that antisemitism hasn't affected us in the States nearly as much as it historically has in Europe and Asia.

There's some bizzare racist viewpoint that the evil zionist Jews control all media and watch you sleep which is why all conspiracy theories lead back to them. It's completely illogical and idiotic but that doesn't prevent the idiot racists and conspiracy nuts from believing it.

For what it's worth apparently Vic does have a couple of con dates lined up for later this month, but otherwise his schedule's empty there. He doesn't have any currently-going voice work either.
Between that and being on the hook for legal fees, which could potentially end up including those of Funimation and Rial, and rather likely fines, yeah, I think there's something to the theory that he's going to end this whole saga bankrupt.
