Good Now do the same for tag teams Yeah, I don't get why they think giving 2 tag matches 6 minutes each is better than having one really good match. Is the goal of the WWE to get everyone on the card, or to entertain the fans in the best way possible? |

Also, Meltzer and Alvarez have said nothing on this. So I'm not putting much stock in it.
The impression I got with these tag titles was the women's division would just just the champs on both brands.

As far as I'm concerned, I'd just put the women exclusive to one brand (likely RAW). Last thing you'd need is a situation like SmackDown from 2002-2008 where they were stuck fighting for no reason and you were given no reason to care for their conflicts since, at the time, the stories were "Who was the lesser of the skanks?" So a few days ago, someone mentioned Fox saying they wanted stars exclusive to their brand, and also that they wanted Ronda Rousey (seems academic, now). If that's the case, then maybe the WWE is considering making the Women's Division Smackdown exclusive, and I guess Raw would then take the tag teams. That would be much easier on the women, so they don't have to do all that extra travelling, but it just feels like it would be an odd precedent to set - Raw is the guys' show, Smackdown is for women (even though it would still have men). I also think they'd still waste half their roster, because when you've got the Four Horsewomen, Alexa, Nia, Asuka and Carmella, all on one brand, where's the room for anyone else? They have to start thinking ahead, because they've got Shayna, Kairi Sane, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley and Toni Storm, who all have genuine star quality and need to be given some focus, when they inevitably end up on a main roster. |
