I think this would be interesting if Hogan wasn't involved as a producer. That's going to remove any sort of possible objectivity in the creative process as I seriously doubt Hogan would approve anything that made him look bad.

We need everything from Sylvester Stallone and Mr T, to Macho Man and Andre, Vince to Bisch, Hall, Nash. Oh man someone gets to play WARRIOR.
Or maybe not? Maybe it'll be based on one key timeframe like either this will be based on Hulkamania or maybe the tape/Gawker/Bubba/racism fiasco.

Jason Segal as Andre, make it happen. In all seriousness, Chris Hemsworth killed it in Rush. If they let Hogan be a human being in this story and show some of his jealous protection of his star power or anything like that, it'll make it a much more interesting story, and probably make Hogan a more sympathetic lead character, anyway. I think this would be interesting if Hogan wasn't involved as a producer. That's going to remove any sort of possible objectivity in the creative process as I seriously doubt Hogan would approve anything that made him look bad. I doubt he will get THAT much say. Probably mostly enough to not blast it in interviews. Kinda wondering if Chris is going to f*** his hair up or if they'll just make believe Hogan had a full head of hair. |

Welp, this is a bad idea.
Unless he walks out looking like the world's worst parody, says "HURR DURR I'M A RACIST PIECE OF SHIT!" and walks off set, then End Credits, it's hagiographic bullshit, and will hurt Hemsworth's career for willingly associating with Hogan.

To be completely honest, I'd watch a Hemsworth-reboot of 'Thunder in Paradise,' especially if directed by Todd Phillips.
