I've gotta say, I really, really like Team Yell. They're a great way of breaking out of the usual villainous team cliches even more than Team Skull did and are really just amusing in general.

I swear, I am the only person who likes Hau, huh? Granted, Lillie was more interesting out of the SM buds, but still. I do not have the game yet, but I think I'll be team Sobble when I do.

I do want to give the game a bit of criticism. The Wild Area, in concept, is cool, but when you end up getting lost for nearly an hour and the map tells you nothing, it feels tedious. Also, f*** the Ghost Gym Mission. My sister had to do the last part for me, because my fingers can't work the joystick very well lol

I like the games so far but for the good of the series going forward, they need to stop with the annual released. 2016 had Sun/Moon, 2017 had Ultra Sun/Moon, 2018 had Let Go Pikachu/Eevee and this year we got Sword/Shield. This game definitely had some flaws, and I feel like thing are going to get worse with annual released.

Random, kind of funny issue coming out of this game - due to the way the Y-Comm data is structured, it's confusing some people's Rokus to get confused trying to process information from it and get stuck in a loop.
Not really sure how fixable that is though apparently Roku's said they're working on trying to fix it.

If you put up something reasonable people would usually take it pretty much immediately.

Yeah if you wanted Gengar, just put up your Haunter and ask for a different Haunter and you'd get the trade and have it evolve in five minutes. Same with Alakazam, Machamp and other trade related pokemon.

Now that I'm starting to see five star raids I'm going from enjoying them to f***ing despising them. The already useless AI becomes even worse higher end, especially when they decide to start spamming status moves instead of focusing on breaking the damn shields, and the online's too damn busted to ever actually find any humans to do it with.

My team' pretty much settled into a rotation of...
Cinderace Drednaw Corviknight Grapploct Eldegoss Hatterene Dragapult Grimmsnarl
With me basically just keeping them all around the same level and subbing them in and out as needed. Wanting to try working Arctovish, Inteleon, Rillaboom, and an electric type into the rotation, being able to access the PC whenever combined with how fantastic Experience Candy is makes it much less of a hassle to mix and match.

This game is flying by in a way no other Pokémon game has... and that’s not really a good thing. In a single weekend Corviknight has carried me to the 5th gym with no problems at all. I feel like I spent far more time in the DS games, probably because of the grind. And I actually enjoyed the grind... but I’ve also left one city, went through a tiny glowey forest walkway with 2 trainers and was already at the next gym.
I’ve had issues with one single battle against a pair of colleagues who’s Hippodown yawn’d me and the bearded Meowth abomination kept Swagger’ing me. Ending up beating them in a battle of attrition.
Does Team Yell ever actually do anything? Is there a side-story on its way? (There actually might be from something that just happened, but we’ll see)

It's kind of why they might be my favorite team.

I beat the last four gyms AND got to the Pokemon League in a single night, during my shortest playing session this far. I'm going to assume SOMETHING comes from the stuff with Sonia and with Bede. But as far as plot goes, this game may have the weakest story since the originals.

Yeah, despite the extremely annoying restriction of not being able to catch Pokemon beyond a certain level, I like this game quite a bit. It was tough balancing Pokemon and WoW this weekend.
I would also like to throw my hat into the Sobble and Grooky eligibility race, if anyone happens to be making them.

I have some spare Sobble's, also if any one needs any of the Shield exclusives I have most of them
