Conor McGregor is practically the 6ix9ine of mixed martial arts. Charismatic, but incredibly obnoxious and desperate for attention. They're both circus clowns. Rumor and innuendo is that he’s avoiding Ireland because the idiot got into a confrontation with a legit gang member. Oh, that's not wise at all.

I remember reading that rumor. “Conor McGregor has a hit on him from the Irish Mafia” or some such. Dude’s a fxxxing idiot.

Truth is most likely somewhere in the middle but yeah if Conor had a crew/entourage/security team and this guy was bothering him then he should have let them handle it. He has too much money to not be walking around with guys 6'10 and 400 pounds to watch his back
I can believe Conor did some stupid dickhead shit while the fan in question could also been overstepping his boundaries
Certainly possible, but it's still one of those things where he did this in front of a bunch of people, and taking the phone, like, did he think no one would ever find out? Unless it was in the bathroom or something, what kind of pic could the guy possibly be getting that is worth committing a ridiculously easy to solve crime, and making it even worse on himself by taking the phone with him? Conor bad temper is going to get him in real trouble one day. I thought originally he was with his family but coming out of LIV he not with no family so yeah it’s a dick move on his part

If he wasn't such an unstable drama magnet he'd be a million times more likable, and this is coming from someone who is a huge fan of what he can do inside the Octagon.

Conor is announcing his retirement, but he was talking comebacks for this summer this week, so...I call bullshit on that. Dana says he's treating it like a real retirement, which adds to it being bullshit.

It says "Mixed Martial Art." He's retiring from just one Mixed Martial Art, he's still practicing the others.

McGregor is like a MMA version of a combination of Hogan and Sid. Super successful and makes with constantly trying to pull moves(already with the retirement bit?) like Hogan, with the headcase element of Sid throw in. Though Conor and Sid appear to have different vices.

PPV's on ESPN+ have probably pissed connor off as im assuming PPV points will no longer be a thing so a large part of his income per fight is gone. Im assuming hes going to try and work out a new contract or just say f*** it and continue selling his whiskey/clothing brands.

Wonder if he had any concern about get humiliated again like the Khabib fight, and what it'd do to his credibility and legacy, given the damage Ronda's last two fights had to hers, and decided to just not risk it.

This is probably one of those bullshit Michael Jordan retirements where he retires so that he doesn’t get suspended for some dumb old bullshit again. Or perhaps more likely it’s a negotiating ploy. Regardless, he’ll be back in a few months.
I still like Conor, I mean, he’s a headcase, but the dude literally went from having nothing to being a multimillionaire to having god money, that’s enough to f*** anyone’s head up.

Pretty sure he did this after the first Nate Diaz fight and the malarkey that transpired afterwards when Dana wouldn't let him headline UFC 200. It won't last.
But I really do feel the man needs some serious help.

Im assuming hes going to try and work out a new contract or just say f*** it and continue selling his whiskey/clothing brands. This. This is blatantly a negotiating tactic, and with UFC getting guaranteed PPV money they don’t need Conor as much as they did a month ago. For the first time in a long time, UFC has the upper hand in negotiations with him. And unless ESPN steps in and demands they work something out with Conor, they’re gonna keep the upper hand.

OK how long before he shows up as a guest in the WWE? I say 6 months, should be about the time that financial worries start popping up...
