Dana won't put his foot down and at some point it's going to backfire spectacularly for the company. It's not even the inmates running the asylum, it's a dude who wishes he was an inmate saying "Oh sure guys draw dicks on my face, do whatever you want". I think that's the point being made; Khabib didn't realize it was a work, he took it seriously and acted on it. Insulting religion ain’t no work. Other than calling him a backwards motherf***er, McGregor knew what he was doing when he offered his stupid whiskey to a devout muslim. It was theater, Khabib took it seriously. Yeah, the whiskey offer was disresepctful, but it was disrespect within what was intended to be an act. The disconnect was in doing it with someone who wasn't going to take that as an act, but genuinely. Dana White's acting like'90s Vince McMahon in a company full of Shawn Michaelses and it can only end badly for him. The fact that the bus attack didn't change anything means it's going to take actual disaster and something the company is going to get burned hard over for things to sotp. Dana is more the face of UFC than any fighter so I assume he thinks he is bulletproof. His track record is real horrible and he plays favorites
Sure he instantly kicked out Paul Daley when he cheapshotted the dude after the bell rung but he seems to not take any responsibility for outside shit. Jon Jones drunk drives into a pregnant womans car and gets away, gets busted multiple times for drugs in his system but yet nothing happens.
However, he will pick a fight with Tyron Woodley because he didn't like his fight
Dana thinks he's his own cult of personality and that he's gold because of that. It's not a good sign or good look.

It's not even steady growth anymore, they just completely stopped growing and now treading water

The only thing more unbearable than Conor McGregor are Conor McGregor’s fans.
Facebook is the absolute worst for it. They will defend anything he does and if you talk about him getting KTFO by Khabib or Mayweather or tapping out to Diaz, they’ll say “HE STILL MADE MONEY THO, WHAT HAVE U DONE”
Ugh... I legitimately can’t wait till this guy f***s off forever. When you live in Ireland like myself, it’s 100x worse. Every other guy you meet is a mark for this fool. I even seen some guys acting and dressing like him. It makes my blood boil. Just last week I was doing a shift in a hotel and some guy was raving on about how he was on welfare and it didn’t matter that he lost cause he still made cash. I just sat there rolling my eyes. Even when he gets shown up, they still lick his ass.
Rant over.

That's a hell of a contrast from Joe Duffy, who sleeps in the dorms of Tristar Gym and is usually low-key despite being the last guy to beat Conor before Conor made it to the UFC.

Without entering in specifics and breaking forum rules, there are cultures from the Caucasus, specifically Khabib’s that were raised in such a way that crossing certain lines can only result in violence. It’s no coincidence that Khabib didn’t want to break the choke and why he attacked the cornermen, or why Khabib’s cousins attacked McGregor. Khabib didn’t grew up a wwe fan and that bit Conor in the ass.

SAS told a great joke in first take, Conor has been arrested more times than he has won in years.

He wanted to save face and shake his hand after the match to keep whatever dignity he had lift but Khabib was having none of it. He deserved that ass kicking. And it’s no surprise that UFC suspended Khabib for it. I bet if Conor did it, it would be “legendary”... just like if Khabib trashed a bus, he would be fired from the company.

Truth is most likely somewhere in the middle but yeah if Conor had a crew/entourage/security team and this guy was bothering him then he should have let them handle it. He has too much money to not be walking around with guys 6'10 and 400 pounds to watch his back
I can believe Conor did some stupid dickhead shit while the fan in question could also been overstepping his boundaries

Connor strikes me as a guy who's gonna blow through whatever he made for the Mayweather fight rather quickly.

Certainly possible, but it's still one of those things where he did this in front of a bunch of people, and taking the phone, like, did he think no one would ever find out? Unless it was in the bathroom or something, what kind of pic could the guy possibly be getting that is worth committing a ridiculously easy to solve crime, and making it even worse on himself by taking the phone with him?

he tries too hard to have street cred Conor McGregor is practically the 6ix9ine of mixed martial arts. Charismatic, but incredibly obnoxious and desperate for attention. They're both circus clowns.

Rumor and innuendo is that he’s avoiding Ireland because the idiot got into a confrontation with a legit gang member.
