WWE won that honor, AAA coming second, Impact a distant third.
The 11 year run ends!

AAA has been entertaning since the 2nd half 2018, the match quality has improved and currently they are phasing out oldies like fake Parka and pushing the young guys.
As for Impact goes, the wrestlers are getting paid on time, and according to Moose, Tessa and others, they treat the guys well and not like animals(See Dixie regime).

Michael Cole: The streak...is over
Heyman: Oh my god!!!
AAA should’ve won it based only for Vampiro farting in commentary and the abortion that was Triplemania

How has it taken this long for WWE to be considered worst promotion?

Don't know about AAA, but the relative little I've seen of recent Impact through Youtube clips hasn't been too bad.
I shouldn't say it since I've been burned by them too many times to count, but I might be convinced to tune in properly if they kick Mathews to the curb. As long as that snide prick is on commentary, I'll just stick to clips.

How has it taken this long for WWE to be considered worst promotion? The (understandable) venom towards TNA/Impact thanks to Carter and friends.

Impact is in the weird place of having more consistent competence, focus, & quality control (especially in regards to infrastructure) than they ever have before... and now possessing the least relevance to the wrestling scene since their inception.
They're a former mid-tier rock star now off the drugs and in the best physical shape performing to 20 people in a club every week.

Like I said in the Jarrett As A Creative thread: First WWE got the majority of TNA's roster. Then they got the majority of TNA's backstage people. And they're quickly getting the majority of TNA's suck. WWE didn't beat TNA. TNA took over WWE like a parasite and it shows in everything they do. No one in this business is ever going to learn a lesson.

I'd kill for nL to do commentary every week for the show.

The WWE's issues are virtually the same as they've been for the 20 years though, they've been booked by Vince, for Vince, that will go on as long as he's in charge and has nothing to do with the TNA guys they've hired. People are noticing it more now as TNA aren't as abysmal and the WWE, in terms of sheer talent, have the best roster, top to bottom, that they've had since the rock and wrestling ere and are squandering it.

How has it taken this long for WWE to be considered worst promotion? Because Impact always managed to be that much worse. Which is saying something considering how awful WWE's been lately.

When the company goes under can they rename it the “tna award for worst promotion”? The best brawler is named Bruiser Brody after all...

Pretty much goes along with all the posts I see here "TNA ain't terrible like it used to be anymore". So that's a positive at least. Now if they could just get some actual buzz again.

Now if they could just get some actual buzz again.Thats going to take some time, with the current creative team trying to get away from 2018 booking done by Sonjay Dutt, and really Sonjay showed that he is Delirious 2.0 and the E hired him.

It's going to be REALLY tough to do that now, especially with AEW being the new hotness signing the guys and girls that were helping Impact when it was at its lowest. They need some serious star power and a loyal contingency willing to commit to exclusive deals, and to be quite honest I'm not sure they have the financial power to keep up with the others.
