And the movie is now officially worth the endeavor: William Sadler's back as the Grim Reaper.

Death was the best thing about Bogus Journey, and I say that as a fan of the film in general.
I’ll add too that Alex Winter is looking pretty good; he doesn’t look like he’s aged all that much in the last couple of decades.

Loved Death in Bogus Journey, agree with the above post that in a film full of good things, he’s the best part.

It's funny, because I thought he aged pretty poorly over the 15 years following Bill & Ted, but hasn't aged badly at all since. Keanu, of course, is either a vampire or an immortal. He's barely aged in 20 years.

Yeah, can add my name to the list of people who love Bogus Journey and believe that Death is the best part so yeah, this is the best news of the day.

Also, hopefully the third movie makes the Cartoon series canon with the films:

I want the Evan Dorkin comic to be cannon. Please no. I liked them as a kid, but when I tried to re-read them a few years ago, they were terrible.

My idea for a plot would be that they still havent written the song which achieves the utopia, so they visit various famous musicians through time, from Mozart, to Hendrix, even Eddie Van Halen (I can see him willing to play himself).

I hope this is close to what we get. That sounds perfect for Bill & Ted. I also hope they get another stand-up comic to play their new guide to the circuits of time. Dave Chappelle would be ideal, because he's very much the closest thing to Carlin we have left.

Part of me hopes that this movie takes place AFTER they go into the phone booth to learn how to play in the end of Bogus Journey and either the phone booth breaks down, or they get distracted by something, and while this is going on, the world turns into a collapse and they have to get the booth back working and what have you.
This would explain the Rufus disappearance and as a hilarious gag, since they would be their older selves, there would be a way for them to get surgery to make them back into their selves from Bogus Journey
