Trailer does drop today. Twitter ads say it's out at 6AM PST, which is.... less than an hour away. >.< Debuting the trailer on 6/9, at 6am PST / 9PM EST.... Me realizing why they selected this date and time.

I'd love for the film to have a small shoutout to Freaked, even if it was something as small as a background advertisement for Macheesmo:

So, in watching this, the plot seems to be that Bill and Ted are going to go to different universes and see if they can steal that universe's Bill and Ted song. Obviously hijinks ensue.
Make your Rick and Morty jokes here.

1. Holy shit, I'm 100% on board with this
2. Orion Pictures is still a thing? Could've sworn they disappeared in the '90's

Orion Pictures is still a thing? Could've sworn they disappeared in the '90's MGM acquired Orion in '97 and revived the studio in 2014.

I’m excited for it but so far it just reminds me George Carlin is dead.

I’m excited for it but so far it just reminds me George Carlin is dead. Good news is that it sounds like they either have a decent tribute for him in the movie or at the very least, might do the CG/past footage route for him (especially if this "alternate universe" plot is going to be happening).

I hope it's good. The trailer does very little for me.

Honestly I'm not a fan of the idea that after the promised happy ending of Bogus Journey that Bill and Ted spent the next 25 years bumming around going nowhere in life, never making it happen. I'm willing to give this a shot, but everything about it feels too little, too late.

Now coming to On Demand (it's non-non-non-non heinous that this isn't coming to theaters) on September 1st.

Usually when they say "on demand", it most likely means anywhere where you can rent/buy movies. Also yeah, it said "select theaters" but I was more bummed that this won't get a wide release. I mean...I get it, but man, it would have been cool to check it out on a big screen.

Well hopefully you have one of those select theaters.
