Hey, everyone! Lately, I've been getting some weird spam on my phone. Pretty much all the classics ("Lose weight instantly! You've won a free Samsung! Horny local singles near you!"), and they often use the icons of apps I do have when they appear in the toolbar at the top of the screen, clearly in an attempt to make me think it's a legit message. I assume it's a virus, but I've ran multiple scans with several anti-viruses and none of them found anything, plus I don't know how I could have gotten it as I've always made sure to download official apps.
Has anyone here had something similar happen to them? I tried googling it and so far, no tip I've found has helped. It's also getting increasingly annoying as now I'm getting three of the same spam at once.

it's possible one of your installed apps has ads built into it (which is how they make money). Assuming this is the cause, removing the app is the only solution
I know free flashlight apps are notorious for this
