Damn... I love his work... the "It's Alive" set, "Hell Up In Harlem", "Q", "Cellular", "Best Seller", even the complete "Invaders" TV series are sitting on the shelf in front of me.
Rest in peace, sir.

Also the writer of the Maniac Cop films, and you can tell by the odd humor strewn throughout them. Infamously directed Bette Davis in her final performance, Wicked Stepmother. Still not sure what he was trying to do with Return to Salem's Lot, though.

A little off topic, but when that Geico commercial that is playing where they guys find the mother lode of soft serve ice cream....I'm always "No, you fools...you just found The Stuff. We're all going to die because of this."

The thing with Cohen was that he was almost invisible with just the amount of range of his creativity. Such a wide variety of films.
Heck, I literally found out today he wrote PHONE BOOTH, which may be my favorite one-location film.
Shudder has a documentary about Cohen, titled KING COHEN on their service for anyone who might have it.

Heck, I literally found out today he wrote PHONE BOOTH, which may be my favorite one-location film. It's also the first part of an unofficial trilogy he wrote that also included Cellular and Messages Deleted.
