I swear Miami, Chicago, St Louis, Cincy, and Pittsburgh, are going to try to put out arrest warrants for Jeter for making that Yelich trade.

Should have made them an offer they couldn't refuse when they were in full firesale mode instead of settling for Ozuna who has only been ok.

A 3RHR by Gleyber Torres turned into an out due to fan interference.

Yankees Update; The season will be continued by the 7th string alternates, The team bus driver and Jimmy the bat boy.
ETA; Jimmy the bat boy has been injured as his bones spontaneously liquified.

Man, A-Rod and Jeter's post playing careers really couldn't have gone any differently, and it's proven every day.
A-Rod is a loved analyst, who has an entertaining bromance with Papi. And Jeter, well we all know what he's done with Miami, but with everything Yelich does, his reputation keeps sinking lower and lower. Jeter could go down as one of the worst front office guys in decades.

Yankees season start in June smh This is insane. Judge, Stanton, Sanchez, Andujar, Hicks all out and that’s just the hitters

You know, I had the faint glimmer of hope with the thought of 'Well, at least Judge isn't hurt. He's face of the team nowadays, so if he's up and about, the team can go on through the mountains of injuries' and then yesterday came.
With only an eighth of the season done, I'm ready to write it off. Save for Torres, the entire starting lineup is on the IL. Not to mention the ace of the staff and the ace of the bullpen.
Hicks; May Stanton: End of April, if that. Sanchez: Wednesday Andujar: Unknown. Could still be done for the season Didi: As early as June and as late as the All-Star break Tulowitzki: Mid-May at best. Judge: Since it's a 'significant' oblique injury, he's down at least until the All-Star break and at worst after the deadline. Bird: They say May but it'll likely be July before he's back in the fold.
At some point, the training and conditioning staff is going to have to take responsibility for this. And by responsibility, I mean fired, humiliated, and made sure that they never work in that capacity for any team ever again.

That's not counting Betances and Sevy who are both not coming back until June-ish
Frazier getting great time to show why he was a top prospect and why I think Gardner should be on the bench when everyone is healthy but I feel he will be trade bait for a pitcher

Jesus, this bullpen is f***ing atrocious today. Ottavino shitting the bed is bad enough, but can they trade or send Greene down to the minors? He's been terrible since the tail end of 2017.

If the injuries weren’t bad enough, Cashman spends millions upon millions on the pen and this shithsow is the result. Nice way to finish your home stand before going to the left coast.

If I were the bullpen, I'd just avoid James Paxton for awhile.

Braun Strowman threw the first pitch for the Cardinals/Brewers game today. And apparently it was hard but horribly inaccurate.

Yankees win in spite of the bullpen implosion with a walk-off single.

Update; It’s been nearly a full month of baseball. I’m still in full-blown FU temper tantrum mode over Bryce Harper, and I have yet to watch a single pitch of Giants baseball.
Really opens up your nights when you don’t have baseball to care about.
