I remember meeting him in Vegas during the Guns n Roses residency at the Hard Rock in 2014, I asked for a photo and he went "sorry not in this condition" and kept walking drinking wine. Back then he seemed off more than usual. Actually come to think of it Axl's entourage that few days in Vegas was a weird combo of people, Axl, Nic Cage, Andrew Dice Clay, CM Punk and Dean Ambrose...should be a network show actually.

Wait, what? Hanging around the Hard Rock after the shows, Axl left with Nic Cage, Andrew Dice Clay, CM Punk and Dean Ambrose. At Axl's after party deal Nick Simmons posted a pic of him amd Ambrose. Axl is said to be a big wrestling fan. I saw Punk and Ambrose walking around the Hard Rock and then Guns manager Fernando met them and they went into the venue with Axl. That night Andrew Dice Clay opened for Guns then Nic Cage came out and introduced the band. |

The funniest part of that scene to me was always “MY EYES! MY EYES!” Like, in context of the events going on, what did he think would happen? Nobody was going to go “Wait, they’re stinging the EYES now?! Ok, let’s stop this we’re going too far!” |
