Insert Futurama joke about how "75% of couple's Amazon stock" equates to her walking away with $0.04.

I'm all for when someone makes a decision that is less greedy than what they could have been, but at this point it doesn't matter. You couldn't spend that much money in your entire lifetime, so to me there's really no difference in personal wealth between 20 billion and 300 trillion or any unfathomable number of wealth you could name.

True, but far too many rich people cannot fathom that idea. It does not matter if they could not possibly spend that money. It does not matter if their grandchildren could not possibly spend all of that money. They are entitled to it, you peons, and it does not matter that the money could be actually used to benefit even one person if it is not hoarded by an entitled rich person. It's their money, dammit!

I love that he had to pay his ex-wife and he's STILL the richest man alive.
That's a true baller right there.

I love that he had to pay his ex-wife and he's STILL the richest man alive. That's a true baller right there. Complete opposite of my divorce. Went in poor, didn’t have to pay a settlement due to her not showing up to contest the divorce, and got to stay dirt poor.

Past a certain point it just becomes a dick measuring contest with other insanely wealthy people, and that’s plenty of incentive for some to ruin lives over.

No one creates that kind of wealth on their own. Tax avoidance and sweatshop working conditions helps.
