Thoughts on the women’s main event?

It never really got going and they sacrificed it for a seemingly inconclusive finish. My initial reaction is I’m not a fan.

Becky won in a deflating, sudden way.

At least they got the result right with Becky beating Ronda, but it could have been excecuted better.

It was good and they busted their ass but the show was soooooo LONG and everyone was just exhausted. Something needs to change next year, the length of the show is an active detriment to how enjoyable it is.

And I’m not crazy about the finish. Felt like they still wanted to protect Eonda and I needed it to be more decisive than that.

Part of me wonders if there was a rush change, but if that's always what was supposed to happen, then the women shouldn't have closed the show. Nothing against the women... More like that finish shouldn't have closed the show. Kofi should've been the last thing we saw tonight.

The match itself was great, especially dealing with a tired crowd.

Right result to a very physical, hard-hitting match, but it wasn’t the all-time classic it could have been and it was a very clunky finish.

In terms of quality of WM main events, it’ll land in the middle.

Aim of the match was to give Becky the title. Match itself was pretty good if not unspectacular.

It'll go down in history because of what it was. Not a classic mania main event by any stretch though.

Bad ending, fantastic match, and holy hell, they killed each other. All 3 deserve every accolade they get for this match.

Good, hard-hitting match, if a somewhat disjointed one.

The ending is very obviously a setup for Ronda to get a rematch, but I hated it. Honestly, if they wanted to go with the "You won but you didn't really beat me" angle Becky should've just made Charlotte tap.

Good match but the ending sequence brought the mood down quite a bit. Firstly, the table spot that was supposed to finish off Charlotte didn't go properly as planned and then the Piper's Pit into a rollup wasn't a great way to end things. Still, Becky won the main event of WM and it's something that can never be taken from her.

Decent match. Crowd was gassed and it didn’t have the juice that it should have had, ending was stupid. Typical WWE nonsense.

So while I'm sure plenty speculation can be made, good or bad, for why the ending was booked the way it was, let's get one thing out of the way first:

If Charlotte was as over as Becky is, this match would've ended with a clean win.

And it wouldn't have been a triple threat at all, for that matter.
