Seriously, his paint has been getting less and less cool since he arrived and his entrances just keep getting sillier. What’s with the wacky cape?
It’d be better if it wasn’t presented as a demonic force making him stronger that he has to summon for a proper opponent and instead was him just being either

Lashley looked infinitly more like a monster.
Hell. Have him keep the contacts and make him the new resident monster. Dude looked so fxxxing badass tonight.

IMO this was probably Lashley's best match since coming back to WWE. Even in a shorter, losing effort, he proved he's one of the most athletic big men ever to step in the ring.
As for Finn, we've seen this exact match before from him, minus the huge offensive spurt by Lashley, the powerbomb spot and the hissing at Lio (whose reaction was one of the best things in the match).
Both have been restrained by so much crappy booking and in-ring restrictions that neither has been able to work to their full potential, but Lashley finally looked solid in defeat tonight.

This is the first time I can remember him actually having a change in characteristics as the demon. He didn't seem like regular Finn with paint this time.

Always thought the headgear was lame. But the paint looked cool. Though, his best one was at the WWE Japan show.
Loved him powerbombing Lashley, though.

The makeup was much lazier looking than when Finn was in NXT, that's for sure. Maybe he just didn't want to stand there getting spraypainted for hours, just for an IC Title he'll probably lose before the end of the month.
I've never liked that goofy, dreadlock wig he wears, and I've no idea what he thinks it looks like.

I absolutely hated the paint job on this look.
Go back to The Demon King from SummerSlam one. That one was cool.

I liked Lashley's contacts, I thought that definitely made him look Demon-like and should have that look for the bigger shows.

I'm 100% behind Lashley keeping those contacts for big shows. f***ing badass. Like when Batista used to be Leviathan. Frankly though it made Balor look even sillier.
The goofy headgear needs to GO. It looks so bush league, especially in video promos like on RAW where he just *POOFS* into the Demon and sticks his tongue out.

God, it's the cringiest shit ever. The crawling, the hissing -- props to anyone he faces who doesn't straight up corpse.

My entire issue with The Demon is that there is apparently no real story to it beyond "OH MY, BALOR IS LETTING OUT THE DEMON!"
This dude is apparently infested with a supernatural monster that he routinely keeps in check but, when occasionally frustrated at floundering career moments, releases to unleash damage upon an opponent before he then shoves it back down to whatever region of his body hosts demons?
Does that hurt him? Does that weaken him? Is that thing corrupting him? Does he deal with knowing that him as a normal man is not up for a challenge?
I mean...what's up with this?
