Spinoff of the costume change thread, which was a spinoff of the wrestling version.
As I said in one of the older threads, Family Feud '94 becoming that sterile, cold version of the classic Feud set when Richard Dawson made his short-lived comeback. The Satellite of Love + dimmed lights from MST3K mid-season 6 till pretty much the end of the SFC era. (it wasn't BAD, but still weird)
Mary's new apartment, Mary Tyler Moore Show, season 6 and up.

When Larry and Balki moved into that house with Jennifer and Mary Ann.

Really didn't like them abandoning the hotel in ANGEL. What a great set that was. I mean, for specific reasons I know, but woulda been nice to see it again (it was still theirs, IIRC, someone referenced it in the last episode I think as a rendezvous point?)
EDIT: Good grief, I'd forgotten - the rendezvous point was kinda important: the alleyway that they met up in at the very end of the episode was supposedly right behind the hotel.

Dynasty ending with brand new mansion interiors.
Alexis on said show moving from her awesome apartment to a hotel suite.
Not exactly a set change but Stargate shows in latter seasons almost exlusively filming in the forrest whenever offworld.

Red Dwarf's ever-changing living quarters were backwards steps each time. Series 3-5. Series 9. Series 10-12.

I was about to say this. I liked Angel's apartment and office in the first season. The lighting and layout of that set was really cool. But the hotel was iconic, and moving to the Wolfram and Hart offices just didn't work.

On like Season 2 or 3 of "Martin," Gina redecorated his apartment. I never got used to it or liked it. I always hoped that they would change it back.

The interior remodelling of the Normandy SR-2 between Mass Effect 2 and 3. The first time I got to the ship in the third game I literally said out loud "What have they done to my ship?"

I always used to hate when the Doctor redid the control room in the Tardis. In every case but one, I have eventually grown to love the new one like all the rest. The one exception is that one of Tennant's where he had to flip giant switches and pump big levers and spin big wheels and hit things with other things. It was pointless and stupid and I hated it.

Falcon Crest started out with a very gothic like mansion with dark wood paneling everywhere but as the show progressed it got brighter and brighter with pastel colors.
I went there a few years ago and the mansion hadn't change a bit.

Even the set they went to was pretty damn awesome. That show always had fantastic bases for Angel and crew. The office, the Hyperion, and Wolfram and Hart, I can't think of a bad main set they ever had. Even Caritas was a good set.

I was never a fan of I love Lucy’s house in the final season and the reunion specials.

Buffy season 4 really struggled to have an interesting consistent set for the year. Giles' apartment is fine, but it was a visual step down from the Sunnydale High Library. The Magic Box was a great step up, but come season 7 they were stuck with Buffy's house which I'm convinced they used just to give the actresses playing the Potentials comfortable spots to sit in the background all day.

I liked the first season of Unhappily Ever After when Jack had his own apartment instead of living in the basement.
