Pretty much the thing I have the least problem with concerning NXT and the main roster. Now the fact that there’s no continuity between the two, especially when you’d think you’d need that to get network subscriptions on the other hand? BIG problem with that. That's the problem with having 2 people with 2 different visions See but when they bring in that continuity you run the risk of alienating the crowd that doesn’t give any kind of shit about NXT. They pretty much brought Emma over and said “Hey look! Emma from NXT! We all know her!” and thought it was a done deal

NXT wouldn't be NXT if it kept everyone for long.

Which is why theres a divide of people "completing" their NXT stories and having to essentially start it again or get another one when they get called up.

You know, like anyone else that would have gotten called up to get over. Emma was brought over with no context, no development and nothing except “She dances”. Even if she wasn’t from NXT, how are people supposed to care about that?

Sure the people that watch is going to be excited but everyone else is going to be like who and why should I care

Sure but again, hype packages, promos, interviews etc can do wonders. That character in NXT can be a foundation that can lead to a new chapter, it doesn’t have to be the be all and end all with a good direction to start off with. Again, the fact this doesn’t happen is mind boggling when you own all the footage. They even own the wXw footage and can get ICW and PROGRESS’ in an instant if need be.

They ran video packages for everyone in the group they called up earlier this year. To the point of annoyance.

They didn’t really show who these people are and what they did, they just showed footage. Why, for example, didn’t they have 5 weeks where they had each person cut a promo to camera about themselves and what they’re on Raw to do etc? That probably would have helped more than the same promo package as before.

I know people are supposed to get called up from NXT just seems like a lot at once for some that haven’t been there all that long. So War Raiders or whatever they call themselves now are doing double duty I suppose.
