Something I just saw pointed out - somewhere offscreen was an incredibly awkward Captain America and Red Skull conversation. I woke up this morning and realized you meant the unseen moment Cap returned the Soul Stone. I would've loved to have seen that. On a related note, wonder if Marvel could use this as a way to bring back Black Widow. Basically, returning the stone allows the sacrificed life to come back. Other thoughts and observations: 15: Back to the Future is ruined to me. 16: Scarlet Witch: You took everything from me! Thanos: I don't even know you! 17: Alexander Pierce was probably the most random character to be called back during the time jumps. 18: Someone tell me what Thor said after he killed Thanos in the beginning. That's when a baby cried and the crowd was all like "What did he say?" 19: Would've liked more interaction between Cap and Dr. Strange and the GotG. 20: So I guess there was no point to Ant-Man's van during the final battle? 21: That Thor/Star-Lord gag at the end ran 10 seconds too long. 22: Steve/Peggy hit me harder than Tony dying. I'm just saying.

More thoughts now that I've slept on it:
After spending 11 years teasing Cap saying Avengers Assemble, I didn't think the moment would live up to the hype. IT DID! Holy Cow, even the call back to "On your Left" that sets off that entire sequence was absolute perfection.
I don't know how I feel about them, for all intents and purposes resetting both Loki and Gamora?
Because I'm assuming we do get them back but it's 2012 Loki and 2014 Gamora. That's....odd. Especially since both those characters pretty much lost their entire character development. It's kinda depressing that the Gamora Quill is looking for isn't the Gamora that fell in love with him.
I guess this does explain the description of Loki's show though: From what I've read it sounds like he's going to be a Chaotic Evil Dr. Who? Bouncing around time, which makes a hell of a lot more sense if it's this (old) new Loki that has the Tesseract.
How are they doing Wanda and Vision? Since Vision is very much still Dead as a doornail.
I'm glad Sam is gonna be Cap. I know people are disappointed we aren't getting Bucky!Cap but MCU Bucky is TIRED. He needs to rest.
Steve:
I dislike Steve's ending a LOT.
SO F***ING MUCH.
Cap should have used the Gauntlet.
Tony should have got the ride off into the sunset ending with his family.
I'm gonna need something saying Steve didn't just go into this alternate past he created and not change anything? Then I might feel better about it.
Like are you telling me Steve "I'm with you till the end of the Line" Rogers just LEFT BUCKY WITH HYDRA?! Didn't tell Peggy that Zola wasn't shit? Sat across from Peirce and dinner and didn't punch him in the face?! Sounds fake but okay.
I'm glad Sam is gonna be Cap. I know people are disappointed we aren't getting Bucky!Cap but MCU Bucky is TIRED. He needs to rest.
I'm a mess

16: Scarlet Witch: You took everything from me! Thanos: I don't even know you! "You will" My mind pretty much screamed "IT'S ROBERT REDFORD, HE'S IN THIS TOO!" "I aimed for the head" I expected Tony to die and wondered how they were going to sort things with Steve. Out of everything that I didn't see happen...that was a really damn nice ending. Steve's content, man. It was really nice.

Edit: haha, beaten to it like 3 times. Look, man, it's an awesome enough line that it deserves it. Like, a lot of the lines were predictable in that I thought that's what should be said and then they said it but the entire movie had so many moments like that I can't really give a damn since that's what I wanted. That was one of them.

You could say that about most of the MCU in general; a lot of the quips and one-liners you can see coming from a mile away, but that's because they absolutely need to be said.

The exact reverse of the point we're making, but an another awesome moment you've just reminded me of: Strange silently just holding up 1 'pause' finger to get Tony to wait. Beautiful.

The movie's going to involve time travel: Yes They're going to build their own gauntlet: Yes Hawkeye's family will be snapped: Yes Professor Hulk will show up: Yes Thor will go for the head: Yes Tony will die: Yes Steve will reunite with Peggy: Yes All deaths will be undone: Kinda, sorta

Yes, that wasn't the intention of the joke but damnit, it made me giddy. Everything about that sequence, the music, just EVERYTHING took my breath away. For me that felt like the culmination of the last 11 years. I cannot say enough about how the Russos did those two words and that moment justice. My theater was doing the BP War Chant and then it went silent, he said the thing and the roof blew off. It was the best moments I've ever had watching a movie in the theatre

It was so satisfying hearing that damn line too.

Came across this in an article. Symbolism at its finest.
Passing the gauntlet In a sequence reminiscent of the Battle of New York's seminal single take, the new Infinity Gauntlet gets passed from Hawkeye, to Black Panther, to Spider-Man, to Captain Marvel. The original Avengers literally passed the gauntlet to the new ones, ensuring the MCU’s future — and then sent it back to Iron Man so he could bid this era goodbye.

I loved all the random characters throughout the years that got a moment. Frigga, pierce, Jane foster, crossbones and Sitwell, iron man 3 kid, Howard, Peggy, Jarvis.
Loved getting small roles for Ken Jeong and Yvette Nicole Brown.

Was it me or did Steve nickname Spider-Man “Queens” when tossing the Gauntlet to him?
