Wow, that NXT UK Women's title match. I kinda want Nikki Cross to win. On the other hand, Bianca Belair winning would be nice because she's awesome. On the OTHER other hand, Toni Storm rules still!

Piper Niven vs. Zelina Vega should be fun.
I don't see Toni Storm losing the NXT UK Title, because neither Belair or Cross are likely to be showing up on NXT UK regularly. But man, does that underline how badly the WWE have blown Nikki's call up to the main roster?

Decent episode of NXT, I marked for seeing "War Raiders" pop up, but then remembered these are taped in advance of Vince's stupidity. And I am REALLY excited for KUSHIDA next week. Here are some more thoughts on this week's show: youtu.be/PNxjyFWzqDw

It was kinda funny hearing the NXT announcers fail to acknowledge the War Raiders' main roster names.

It was kinda funny hearing the NXT announcers fail to acknowledge the War Raiders' main roster names. This kind of thing used to happen a lot in the early days of NXT. Look at when The Shield started, and nixed separate singles arcs for babyface Seth Rollins and heel Roman Reigns right where they stood. Ambrose was fine because this was that six month period where he didn't exist.

I find it funny that the "didn't exist" meme also happened with Solomon Crowe, Ambrose's former tag team partner on the indies.

LeRae/Lee Ray was the best match Candice has had since joining WWE. Hopefully they’re going to start using her as a wrestler instead of just having her be Johnny’s wife.

NXT UK
Ohno vs. Ligero: Wasn't really interested but they pulled me in by the end. Good match with a good finish. Again I'll say I like Ohno in UK and I like Ligero. He'd be perfect for when/if UK gets a secondary title.
Devlin Promo: Dude is money. Hyped himself, Walter, Dunne, UK Title and all their matches.
European Union "WWE Axxess Tour": Good promo about how wrestling and being in the ring was earned. Now anyone can be a "superstar".
Short and to the point promo by Toni Storm.
KLR vs. Xia Li: KLR being super aggressive is great to see. I always like seeing Li. She keeps improving. Good match.
Andrews/Webster vs. Moustache Mountain: Shocking! A really f***ing fun match lol
NXT
Jaxson Ryker vs. Humberto: Ryker sucks, but atleast he actually showed dare I say personally? Also glad Humberto didn't lose. The future six man tag should be really good.
Cole promo was good and Riddle being Riddle worked here. Cole vs. Riddle will rule.
Vanessa/Aliyah vs. Candice/Kacy: This match surprised the f*** out of me. It was actually good and entertaining. Aliyah and Bourne are a much better team than single stars and looked really good here. Candice and Kacy with more time could be a good team as well.
Regal and Ohno are always awesome together.
The Street Profits vs. War Raiders: Hell of a way to start a match. Holy shit! This match ruled! Give it to me again at Takeover!
Gargano vs. Strong: Awesome match. They beat the shit out of each other and the counters were fantastic. The storytelling at the end was also great.
World's Collide: Women Collide
Candice LaRae vs. Kay Lee Ray: This was an great f***ing match. This would've fit perfectly on a Takeover. This was the best Candice has looked since joining WWE in my opinion. It sucked one of then had to lose.
Zelina Vega vs. Piper Niven: I get giving Vega offense, but she got way to much here. Niven didn't get to show much, sadly.
Io Shirai vs. Sonya Deville: Not great chemistry. Match was just there. Can't believe Sonya won. That is mind boggling even on a show alot of people won't see.
Bianca Belair vs. Nikki Cross vs. Toni Storm: Fun match. Basically everyone gets there shit in match match, but still good to watch.
Also Mia YiM was pretty good on commentary for her first time. Atleast in WWE.

I enjoyed Worlds Collide - Candice/KLR and the UK Women's Title Triple Threat were the highlights, though I liked Sonya's gear as well, not exactly her going over Io Shirai though.

It was kinda funny hearing the NXT announcers fail to acknowledge the War Raiders' main roster names. Nigel did call them "the vikings" at one point and I was like "waitaminute...."

The longer Matt Riddle is presented as a face, the more convinced I am that I must be a heel without realising it. Bro, I hate his bro schtick and anyone who thinks it’s cool, bro. Bro, he’s a knob, bro. Bro. But really, bro, what’s supposed to be likeable about him, bro?
Casy Katanzaro is so tiny she makes Candice LaRae look both tall and beefy. Apart from having name recognition as a non-wrestler celeb, she’s surely stuck in the Chad Gable zone of being clearly an excellent athlete but too small to amount to anything.
Is it because the Street Profits are great (which they are) that nobody gives Montez grief for those funny little Jinder-tits (which he has)?
Have the Street Profits been in a tag-team holding pattern too long? They feel a bit Oney & Danny (or even Enzo & Cass) in being the “great and over but never winning the big one” team, which doesn’t bode well for the future.
Mia Yim is really pretty. Got nothing else on that. She’s very pretty.
Roddy and Jonny may as well be each other. I think they’re very good but one of them is the little pasty short fellow in trunks with skinny arms, stumpy legs and short dark hair and the other one is the little pasty short fellow in trunks with skinny arms, stumpy legs and short dark hair. In this match, I liked it when the little man hit the little man, then the little man kicked out.
