It's sad seeing what became of so many of these people. I really liked a lot of them in high school and college. The sad part is that the main reason why this CA drama happened is that most if not all of CA were in that High School type mindset with all of the negative stuff that entails

Seeing how all of this seems to be tied to ChangeTheChannel, Brad seems to be doing this because he is fiercely protective of those that helped give him a platform and who demands respect towards them, even though they have acted in ways that are not deserving of it, both personally and professionally. He also seems to be someone that doesn't deal with change well, which would explain him lashing out at his former friends and co-workers, because he views them as the reason behind Channel Awesome's downfall, even though it was a self-inflicted wound. The revelations have caused the site's traffic to crater, and despite being able to sustain himself due to being one of the most successful of the producers, he continues to stay because of that loyalty. With how its affected the former members of Team Snob, like Brian, that feeling of loyalty seems to have permeated towards his personal relationships as well.
He's basically the Javier Escuella to Doug's Dutch van der Linde. Someone who's talented enough to make it on his own, but whose blind devotion and loyalty to someone that insists on living in the past and with his head in the sand with regards to events transpiring around him, will eventually lead to his downfall. And Mike Michaud is the Micah Bell.

The ironic thing about all of this is that it was pretty much an all but dead issue, but Brad throwing a fit over it's brought it back into the spotlight.
Granted while Brad has lost some subscribers over this (about 900), it hasn't really been a gigantic hit to him yet. The bigger thing is that his views have been steadily dropping since April... probably since the midnights aren't any fun anymore.

So the lesson's here? 1) Twitter is a hive of scum and villainy (IMO). 2) Let sleeping dogs lie. I get Brad wanting to help his friends, but maybe he should have left it at that first interview. Personally I would have edit out his wife comments about #changethechannel. But I think that was a live stream.

Also, why does Brad and his Wife have the EXACT same voice? Is that a Chicago accent? It's unsettling. The same voice? What do you mean? They don't have the same voice. They both talk in this kinda drawn out, whiny tone. Not just in the video posted about the alleged incident, but even in their other movie reviews where nothing is wrong.

That seems unlikely since I'm pretty sure neither of them are actually from Chicago. He's from Springfield, and I know she's from elsewhere. In the past she's talked about growing up in a pretty strict Mormon community, so for some reason I thought she was from Utah. In hindsight that feels kinda ignorant on my part.

Holy shit, that stream thing made my opinion of Brad's wife drop through the floor. I can't even imagine the idea of directly after your dad killed himself turning around and just jabbering on about how only some people's mental health is of any concern. That just seems like such a stupid, selfish way to look at that situation and like she has absolutely no understanding of what the stream was supposedly supporting.

Bit of a followup against some of the defenses of Channel Awesome, one person in particular. Language warning.

Oh my god, I am so f***ing sick of this Cinematic Venom guy AND whoever the f*** it is he's going on about here. Buncha vultures taking a serious situation and making it all about themselves.

Pretty much how I feel at this point too. I'm kinda over reading about it unless something new happens or the inevitable Down the Rabbit Hole episode.
