First part of father stretch my hands is amazing, and then Kanye had to ruin it.

Mother Russia, by Iron Maiden. The first 2/3rds are very atmospheric, and help conjure up images and ideas described in the epic lyrics. Then it just ends with an extended solo. Compared to where the song started, it's a let down.

All Summer Long's good for the first ten seconds, until you realise it's not Werewolves of London.

The middle of Korn's "Freak on a Leash", when the dude yells "GO!" and then they play the heavy riff for a few bars. That's the entirety of what I like from Korn. Even worse is "Blind" by Korn. The intro is AMAZING. The ticking ride cymbal pattern, the dissonant guitar slowly building a riff, little bass pops all building up to the "ARE YOU REAAAADYYYYYY!" vocal intro, followed by about 30 seconds of music that makes you wanna f*** and fight all at the same time....and then it becomes a whiny little bitch tune. Another one for me is "We Are Young" by Fun. I actually love the beginning of the song, right up until they get to the chorus. Once the chorus starts, eh.

I love the opening riff to "Owner of a Lonely Heart", but the rest of the song is too bland for me. Unfortunately, it's their most famous song, so it's the only one that gets airplay. It depends on the station. "Roundabout" still gets airplay on some of the stations I listen to.
