AEW: Dynamite is better than Wednes Day Night Dynamite.
Not big on it still but not awful.

Dynamite makes sense, TNT and all that, even if TNT and Dynamite aren't actually the same thing. People do conflate them a lot, though, so it makes thematic sense. I figured they had to call it something, because if they do get another show down the line, you don't want to then have to have one show just called AEW and then the other is AEW: _____. That's bad branding.

I managed to score tickets to the show in Indianapolis, but they were practically almost gone within 5 minutes. I'm not a fan of using Ticketmaster, however, since I had to spend $18.90 on additional fees for two $25 tickets. Going back to the queue, it's at over 2000 right now for just a handful of remaining seats in the upper sections of the Coliseum. This is a big deal considering how WWE treats Indy as a casual market.

So according to the Young Bucks in an interview today they still haven't sorted the UK TV deal and it might not be done in time for the first show. WTF.
I'd be gutted to miss it, what's the hold up?

I think I remember a YouTube video Cody posted a while back with him saying "The good folks at ITV" in a sarcastic tone, so that network's management must have some problems.

Just checked the Indy seating chart and there's a lot of seats from what I saw. Did they open up more?

Well, looks like the conflict of Orange Cassidy as IWTV Champion while under contract has been resolved. He just entered Black Label Pro's Turbo Graps 16 tournament earlier today as a surprise entrant, and chose to defend his title in his first round match against Erick Stevens. Stevens won the match, and in the process the IWTV title, and also chose to defend the title in his tournament matches. He made it to the finals, only to lose the tournament, and the title, to "War Horse" Jake Parnell.
Tl;dr Orange Cassidy no longer has the IWTV Championship, and as such no more obligations outside of AEW, exempting his remaining indy dates.

Anything is better than WCW Hard on Saturday Night. That sounds like a show named after Val Venis in an alternate timeline where he signed with WCW instead.

Sad to see him lose the title, but I knew it had to happen soon. I don’t think he’s going to be exempt from his remaining dates, though. He has sporadic shows booked through the end of November, all of which were announced after he had signed to AEW, so I’m sure he worked it out with them and will show up where he’s advertised.

Yeah, I worded that weirdly. What I meant to say was that he had no more other obligations other than the dates he had to finish up.

Orange Cassidy's career is pretty amazing in retrospect. He's going to be one of the best part of the shows. There's pretty much no ceiling at all where they could take his character in a year or two.

I love that Jake Parnell is getting known outside of his normal area. Been seeing him off and on in Pro Wrestling EGO since 2013.

For the first show, a rematch from All Out as SCU once again takes on the Jurassic Express.
