Excellent hire by AEW, that should help fixing the production issues

Class to that ass is exactly the kind of thing I would expect Douchy Evans to say.

I just looked at the guide on DirecTV, and between TNT and TNT West, the first episode of *claps* DY-NO-MITE! is airing five times over Wednesday night, and then a couple more times over the weekend.
Issa lot.

Also hiring not-the-wrestler Kevin Sullivan is a really good move for AEW. Dude's a pro who's worked with WWE and Impact and I think he also produced some stuff for AEW already freelance.

I took another look and there are still some seats left at the normal price for that Philly show, so I'm not sure why they would call it a sell out. Wouldn't that deter people from finding the remaining tickets? Because they’re probably sold out of normal Seats, and anything left has catches attached, obstructed view etc. So announcing A Sellout makes the show seem important and there’s probably an asterisk that say limited seats available day of Show or some hook to sell the rest so you don’t miss THE MOST IMPORTANT SOLD OUT SHOW!!!!! It’s Carny for pay full price for crappy seats you wouldn’t pay half price for, to see a show your only going to, so you can tell your friends at school-work-around the mahjong table, that you were there; when you'd probably rather watch from home in the comfort of your easy chair with reasonably priced snacks and adult beverages of your choice. It’s Carny 101. Yeah, I guess 45 yrs of watching has left me slightly jaded.

Anyone here going to the DC show? I’m still considering it, bummed I missed out on the VIP and meet/greet ticket though, that would have been awesome.

I think I've lost little bit of my excitement in two weeks and the show starts next week...
Has the roster done anything special in indies as of late (great matches, moments, etc.) to make me care before AEW's debut episode?

Has the roster done anything special in indies as of late (great matches, moments, etc.) to make me care before AEW's debut episode? There was a bit of AEW representation in the BOLA. In particular, I've heard really good things about Jungle Boy vs. Jake Atlas in the first round.

I've noticed they don't seem to be hyping their main event for the debut show on their twitter account unlike other matches. Maybe because the mystery partners are LAX and they don't want to have people disappointed by expecting a shocking debut or something.

What sucks is the tickets were so popular we couldn't find a way to sit together so we're all scattered around. I wouldn't have paid this much if it were like the 8th show, but it's literally the debut show.
