War of Will won the Preakness Stakes, but the true story was how Bodexpress lost its jockey at the starting gate yet finished the race.
We got ourselves a folk hero.

I dont know if the jockey will ever ride that horse again
Also oddly enough, that horse did not finish dead last in the race.

Even though he officially did not finish, that horse kept pace with the rest of the pack and embedded himself in there just so the official couldn't corral him away.
What a horse.
