Remember the Topps Nintendo GamePack scratch-off game cards from 1989? You couldn't actually win anything if you won the scratch-off games on the cards. I remember assuming you could win Nintendo games or Nintendo swag or something, but nope. There was even a disclaimer on the cards in tiny print about there being no prizes for winning. The stickers were pretty cool, at least. I guess the tips were useful, but I had a subscription to Nintendo Power so I probably already knew the tips they gave.

Yes, I had some, I never wanted to mess them up, so I didn't scratch them, which ruined the whole reason for having them.
