@davidmooredmn Cowboys were in contact w/ the NFL on Monday regarding the 2 controversial tripping penalties in the loss to New England. Club was told those should not have been called. Shocking Refs being terrible at their jobs

New England Patriots are the sole holder of the record for consecutive 8+, 9+, 10+, 11+, and 12+ Win seasons and the co-holder for 13+ and 14+ seasons. And you should hear the panic around these parts because the Patriots have only scored 50 points in the last three games. Yes, there's an inordinate amount of doom and gloom surrounding the 10-1 defending Super Bowl champions, but that's just what gets clicks and views and listeners to tune in around New England. (Fortunately, I've managed to avoid sports radio since 2017 - and yes, it's been refreshing - but it's impossible to avoid the negativity surrounding this team) I don't know why it is that the sports radio jackals and troll columnists get the most attention, maybe Patriots fans are just intensely masochistic. But these braying jackasses who are profiting off of takes about how Brady's washed up or the game has passed by Belichick are going to be dying for these glory days in about five to 10 years when Josh McDaniels is coaching Jarrett Stidham to a 5-11 season and nobody is listening or reading or caring. I live here too, I turned off sports talk after last years Sox run. Had you listened to some shows you'd like they were a 70 win team that couldn't get out of their own way when they were in fact a 108 win team that was an absolute buzzsaw in the playoffs.
The singular goal seems to be to make sure fans don't enjoy local sports. I don't get it and I don't listen any longer.

These guys clearly don't remember the 01-04 Patriots where winning a game 13-9 was a regular occurence. It's okay to have an amazing defense and a decent offense (which in this case, can be solid when healthy).

Ravens have a chance to get the record for the most rushing yards in a season if they average 169.5 a game the rest of the season.
The current record is by the 1978 New England Patriots 3,165 (The Patriots didn't have a single player rush for more than 800 yards)

Patriots kicker Nick Folk will miss Sunday's game against Houston with appendicitis. So if anyone reading wants to kick in an NFL game head down to Reliant Stadium by Sunday and give your resume to Bill Belichick. Even if your only kicking experience was in pee wee soccer please apply. We'll take anything.

With the run the Boston sports landscape has seen over the last 2 decades, it's equal parts sad and infuriating that the fanbases in the city of Boston willingly subject themselves to sports radio that treats them and the teams like garbage. Like, there are 2 sports radio stations in Boston, and maybe, MAYBE 2 good shows between them. What do we get? The Sox are trashed at every turn a year removed from the best record in baseball and the World Series title, The Celtics fanbase is treated like a bunch of rubes, the Patriots...a team who has been to 2 of the last 3 Superbowls and won 2 of them are undermined and second guessed daily, and lastly the Bruins..who may as well not exist despite going to game 7 of the finals last year and having the highest point total in the NHL as of the moment. The fans in this city deserve better than what we have from sports radio/newspapers

Some people do want it, mainly because they support their teams and in this area more often than not they've been pretty good for the last 2 decades.
If the teams start playing like crap across the board I don't know who they'll be appealing to.

Feel like we may see more suspensions like these in the next few years. Fast forward to him appearing at WM36 in Tampa: "Yeah, I gambled on football. Am I sorry? Hell no! I made a fortune betting against the Bucs!" (and then Kane tombstones him.)

Funny stat: none of the teams with cat names have won a game since that black cat somehow got on the field in that game a few weeks ago.
