Michael Thomas got AP offensive player of the year... That's bullshit over McCaffrey or Jackson.... McCaffrey def should have won, he put that team on his back and was really their only weapon Thomas whether it is fair or not is part of a well oiled machine but still give him big credit for breaking the receiving record

In the game to determine the 100th NFL World Champions, both the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers did not start in the NFL. The Chiefs are from the American Football League and the 49ers are from the All American Football Conference.

49ers are going to beat KC up on offense and defense. I won’t be surprised if they blow them out.

If I had to guess, Chiefs win by 4. But I'm not confident in my pick. Given how well both teams play, I can just as easily see a close win by the Niners, a blowout by KC, or a blowout by SF.

I don't watch the NFL pretty much at all anymore, but I am really happy for John Lynch. Lynch has always been a rock solid person, a really smart guy, a career overachiever, and one hell of a player. Went to Stanford, was a high draft pick in the MLB draft, was a good color commentator for a while. He just does things well. I remember when he got hired on as GM, he got skewered by a lot of people who thought he was in over his head. He cearly was not.

You were among a LOT of criticism of his hire and how long he'd last. If nothing else, he's proven he absolutely belongs.

I was always happy with Shanahan, but that whole “TV guy with no front office experience” deal with Lynch brought back scary memories and comparisons to Matt Millen. Glad our guy turned out okay!

Matt Millen, what a long and undeserved living he made as a GM.

I think it goes to show how out of touch I am that I only just learned what teams are actually playing.

Kansas City is now Champions City! Chiefs just won their 2nd franchise championship (3rd if you want to count the 1966 AFL Championship win right before Super Bowl 1.) FYI, the 2 backup quarterbacks behind Mahomes are Chad Henne and Matt Moore. Both former Dolphins. Who just won a Super Bowl in the city of Miami.

Way too early #HotTake; The Niners will be the Rams of 2020 and faceplant with expectations. JimmyG continues to prove the doubters right and is possibly released after the season.

He's Alex Smith, which means you'll be a playoff contender if the rest of the team is good but if you face elite QB's you'll struggle to advance.

Imagine thinking you have your franchise QB, you get to the Super Bowl and it takes the biggest stage of them all to see that you don't have your franchise QB.
