I voted Kip v Sammy, I went into the match hating Sammy and after he jobbed to Kip me and the entire AEW DoN crowd were 100% sold on Sammy's skills since he basically stole the show up to that point in a match that was replacing the PAC/Page match it was better than it had any right to be.
Reminded me a lot of early TJP especially during the Cruiserweight Classic, a cocky dude who is a pure heel, but his moveset is so dazzling the crowd will still pop for him until he tells them to 'Shut up' for cheap heat again, lol

Pretty much everything was great, except for the format of the Battle Royal, but Cody and Dustin was storytelling at its finest.

I voted Cody/Dustin, but my second favorite was probably Jericho/Omega. I dig the Judas Effect finisher, particularly since the even do the move, he has to turn his back on his opponent. That plays into the name nicely, and I think there's a lot of potential for fun counter attacks.

It's really damn close for me. Probably a four way tie between the joshi tag, Bucks/Luchas, Cody/Dustin and Omega/Jericho.
Gun to my head, guess I'd go with the AAA tag, but all four were A+ matches in my book.

Cody/Dustin. Seemed like it was not only Cody's best match but the best representation of who he was as a wrestler. He's not the mega athletic guy, he's not the strong guy, he's not the fast guy, he's not the technical guy, he's the story guy and his stories have a little bit of that involved. It's his wheelhouse and he showed us it in it's greatest form ie with a connection we all can relate to to some degree.

Cody vs Dustin
It was organic and emotional. They told a beautiful (and gross) story from start to finish. Bombed horribly in WWE. Match of the night in AEW.
This has to be a sign of more good things to come.
The 6-woman Joshi tag match was a distant second.
But it was a great show all around. MJF was the MVP. Sammy Guevara gained a new admirer.

Young Bucks vs Lucha Bros. Hands down.
I must have missed the new move they were teasing though. Anyone catch that?

Watching it live The Bucks and The Lucha Bros. Hands down. That was the peak of the night.
Before that, I’d lean to the womens fatal 4-way. Which was insane where I was at.

Cody/Dustin, Bucks/Lucha Bros and 6 woman tag in that order. Bucks match suffered a bit from underselling but was still very good.

The only thing that bothered me is that Pentagon Jr breaking the arms of one of bucks and that not taking him out of the match. Sure, they sold the fact he couldnt use the arm anymore ,so it wasnt all bad

I'd never seen the Bucks wrestle before and I think I hate them but the Lucha Bros are untouchable. I've no interest in gore and I thought Jericho/Omega was 'meh.' Nothing else was good enough to be 'match of the night' calibre, but I nothing on the whole show was below 'good' really.
