Been watching a bunch of MLW during this pandemic, got up to the end of the Dallas tapings. They sure love their heel stables there (but not women's wrestling). The matches aren't great shakes, but the storytelling is tight and the characters well defined.

I completely forgot they hyped a women's division that consisted of Zeda Zhang wrestling a Spider Lady that turned out to be Priscilla Kelly, who subsequently attacked an interview girl, and then the division disappeared and Kelly became Jimmy Havoc's valet. How do you make the Women of Honor division look good in comparison?

They probably thought if they couldn’t do it right to just not do it at all, but seriously they have Priscilla Kelly under contract even if it’s a limited division she would be a good person to book a division around. I’m sad they couldn’t sign Killer Kross to a deal that guy is freakin money.

I feel bad for Zeda, all that hype for her signing and she hasn't shown up since.

I feel bad for Zeda, all that hype for her signing and she hasn't shown up since. Court Bauer not having more female wrestlers signed besides Zeda and Priscilla ended up being a mistake, because Zeda already had a knee injury going into that match, and has been out of action since. There's a partnership with AAA, so it's not like Bauer couldn't have brought some of the luchadoras in for Priscilla to wrestle until Zeda was ready to come back to get revenge on her. I thought Priscilla attacking Kaci Lennox backstage was going to lead to them facing each other, since Lennox also just happens to be a wrestler outside of MLW, yet there was no follow-up. Given the current situation, however, who knows when MLW could be able to run shows again.

Quarantine has me finally catching up on my watch through of all of the Fusions. Finally got to the point where Gotch betrayed Lawlor. Knew it was coming but figured it was when Contra Unit debuted. Kotto Brazil as Kofi Kingston-light is but cheeks and I’m interested in seeing how he goes about becoming his Injustice incarnation, especially as Myron Reed seems to be a face right now too. I guess that cringey ass Jordan Oliver turns them Rich Swann rightfully got suspended for attacking a ref, then turned Reed. Oliver rolled in wearing the prison getup after Swann bailed, then Kotto got thrown in for no good reason. Seriously, I don't think there was anything onscreen to explain Kotto, he just started appearing with them. That’s disheartening.

Seriously, I don't think there was anything onscreen to explain Kotto, he just started appearing with them. That’s disheartening. Okay, just got past Battle Riot II. So Reed introduces the tape over his mouth. Jordan Oliver debuts with the Guilty Conscience theme and camo pants. Swann looks WAY better without the hobo beard. Seeing Swann, Reed and Kotto Brazil in the ring at the same time was weird. I’m so used to Swann from WWE that it’s really hard to take him as the precursor to Injustice. I really like Myron Reed’s progress from his debut to this point, and I think he may have surpassed Kotto as my favorite member of Injustice. Seeing Kotto’s lack of progress during the same time (except for gaining an eyepatch) has definitely soured me on him a bit.

MLW have announced that their May 2nd tapings in the Dallas area have been rescheduled for October 3rd - all tickets sold will be honoured on that date. In addition to Intimidation Games in Chicago being rescheduled from April 18th to June 12th, MLW have stated that they're considering several plans for future postponements, but won't make those public while COVID-19 is still on the ascent in the United States.

There's talk of this leading to Ultimo Dragon possibly working for MLW in the future. I'd love to see him be a participant in Battle Riot III and fight LA Park again!

Mancer/MJF was a nice brawl, including MJEFF falling down the bleachers which is always fun.

Finally got to the official Injustice formation. It made a bit more sense watching it play out. Oliver said how someone was telling him to watch out for the refs, announcers insinuated Reed and Swann since that was their thing. Next time Reed and Oliver are together. And finally Kotto shows up after a couple losses and some tweets saying how the refs are blind, and joins up with them. Swann disappears all together.
I hate that they stuck with Oliver’s Guilty Conscience riff, Myron Reed’s theme was way better.

The matches haven't been particularly good lately, but still some fun story telling, including Mancer/Hammerstone heating up, and Colonel Rob Parker being prevented from running OUTLAW BARGE SHOWS.

Yeah I’m about done with the Super Series. I don’t think they have anything taped after this. Looks like all four titles are building to some decent matches. Jacob Fatu vs. Davey Boy Smith Jr. Hammerstone vs. Vance Warner Mason Reed vs. Bryan Pillman Jr. The Von Erics vs. Team Filthy

Not sure if it was on the Bein sports version, but on the YouTube versions there was a legit 12 minute segment of LA Park cooking food with his sons.
They’ve had these segments before but normally last two minutes and are a bit comical in nature. This was serious cooking segment. I amused how long it went.

The greatest pro wrestling segment this year. So many large penis jokes and jibes aimed at Psycho Clown, straight shooting from Los Parks.
Really wanted to like the main event this week, but the crowd brought it down, which goes to show what we've been going through with mainstream wrestling the last couple of months.

Wow, Jordan Oliver is just dreadful. There is not one thing he did in that trios match that didn't look like shit.
