Wow, Jordan Oliver is just dreadful. There is not one thing he did in that trios match that didn't look like shit. I'm just glad we can beat him up in a video game now:

Honestly, the entire Injustice angle is a mess from the ground up.
First off the way it begins, with Rich Swann inexplicably slapping the shit out of a referee for a loss and getting suspended for it. He appeals the suspension, but it remains in place.
During his suspension, both Swann and Myron Reed start decrying apparently biased officiating.
The problem is that in the match where this thing started, there was absolutely 100% nothing about that match that could conceivably be considered a blown call.
And then Reed also hits an official, and is also fined. The two then form a tag team about protesting the biased officiating in MLW. They file a protest, which goes nowhere at all. And then they start sending threats the senior referee, who responds by reporting to the Athletic Commissions...
Which somehow leads to the League implementing a grading system for referees, seemingly implying that the heels had a valid point even though there has been nothing that even remotely suggests that.
And then Rich Swann disappears without a trace, no explanation for why, and he is never mentioned again.
After that, Myron Reed takes over as the leader and joins forces with Kotto Brazil and Jordan Oliver. While this is going on, for some reason Myron Reed starts wearing that stupid freaking chest protector, that is supposedly loaded, but for some reason is never checked, and is always allowed to be worn in the ring. Not to mention all of their matches are 10 minutes of near constant interference, but the referees never ejects any of them.
But for some stupid reason the commentary always seems to entertain the idea that they may have a point about the biased officiating.
And that's not even getting into the point that the storyline has clear racial overtones, having been started by two black men, who did the gimmick of having tape over their mouth in a clear allusion to the Black Lives Matter movement, and then after Swann left it was comprised of two black men, who still were doing the tape gimmick, and a white guy who behaved like the typical white dude who listened to too much Eminem and now thinks he's a rapper.
At best it's annoying, and nonsensical.
At worst it's offensive and mildly racist.

Like team filthy, dynasty, and contra they have tons of promo time, get their ass kicked all the time, but somehow their champion still retains. I think they finally announced Oliver vs. Pillman hair vs. hair. Oliver is to green to be wrestling like he is. He’s gonna kill somebody. I’d love MLW to sign Lio Rush and put him with Injustice as a new leader. Maybe he can save the thing.

Yeah, he almost dropped Vikingo on his head, and then put him in a bad position to take the senton, so Reed landed tailbone first right on his stomach. The only reason people didn't get hurt is because he was carried by 5 far more talented people.

Vinkingo is my favorite AAA wrestlers, he’s going to be huge star. Check out his match against TJP on Impact from like two months ago. It was a banger..

They are taping there first “virtual production” this weekend from everyone’s respective homes. One thing MLW is good at is pretapes. I look forward to what this might be. I'm guessing they will serve as wraparounds to MLW reruns from the Underground days?

Thank heavens this thread popped up again, forgot totally that I had a project to fast forward weeks worth of episodes I haven't seen, so I'd be much more up to date. Last memory of watching was MJF in Mehico. Can someone tell me what's Brian Pillman been up to? Or did they have 'nuff stuff taped already so The New Hart Foundation is still in the mix? Also interested what's been going on with King Mo. Not as bad as his TNA run so far? I'll write more of my thoughts when I've seen couple episodes.

He’s in a endless feud with injustice. Hopefully he wins the Open Weight title in the future. King Mo had like one match with Low Ki, he joined forces with Team Flithy. He’s normally “suspended” or off tv due to “negotiations“, he’s not there all that match. Mance Warner is still the greatest.

He was also part of a horrendously awful tag match that was ACH's only match with MLW after signing with them before he decided to bail on wrestling as a whole.

I was in a live stream with Alicia Atout, I asked her if she had any good Mance Warner stories.
She said Mance is one of her favorite people to interview, because it’s normally one take and completely improvised.
That made me happy to hear.

Now that Contra Unit have taken over MLW and put a stop to Fusion, here's what MLW are doing going forward during the pandemic: THE FUTURE OF MAJOR LEAGUE WRESTLING AND MORE by Mike Johnson @ 12:10 PM on 5/11/2020 With the cliffhanger of CONTRA-Unit overrunning Major League Wrestling and "taking over" the company at the end of this past weekend's MLW Fusion, Major League Wrestling now has a storyline explanation for the interruption of new footage, which is obviously due to the COVID-19 pandemic as MLW head Court Bauer absolutely refuses to film empty arena content. The angle itself was filmed in multiple locations, produced virtually with Bauer overseeing the content virtually from New York, working hand in hand with the talents. The idea is to preserve MLW within the confines of storylines, so that they can continue moving things forward with the Takeover storyline while MLW isn't producing new live events. Since the promotion had been so far ahead of the game with content shot in Texas, Philadelphia and Mexico, the TV had remained the most electric and fun of everyone running weekly broadcasts over the last six weeks. So, what's next for MLW if there won't be live content? The promotion has already mapped out over sixty episodes of future TV, including their new MLW Anthology series, which will kick off this Saturday on BeIN Sport at 10 PM EST. They have also digitized the entire MLW Underground series that was distributed via different broadcast platforms, including the Sunshine Network from 2002 through 2005 that they will be able to utilize. They have been working on different plans and have strategized ideas for up to 18 months from now. While the promotion is dark, the only current contract that is coming up shortly is Richard Holliday of The Dynasty. They are already working on locking him into a new contract and given his recent push, he's being seen as a priority talent to lock in. They recently started selling Holliday coffee mugs, playing off his coffee gimmick. Holliday was originally trained by Paul Roma of WWF/WCW fame. There is a new TV project being developed by MLW built around Alicia Atout. MLW is also continuing to build its relationship with AAA. They will be streaming the lucha company's Lucha Fighter finals this Saturday at www.Facebook.com/MajorLeagueWrestling.com. MLW was really happy with the surge in traffic and likes on their Facebook page for last week's stream. The two sides are also working on producing a new Super Series (the event that made up recent Fusion episodes from Mexico) but given the state of the world right now, there's no timeline. As all this is going on, MLW won't be working out of their Westchester, New York offices. The promotion will be working remotely through at least September.

I'm not sure why people keep bothering with Alicia Atout. She's worked for multiple promotions now and she's still an awful interviewer. Is it her social media platform they're after or something?
Anyways, this past week's main is garbage, but it's the kind of garbage that somehow becomes incredibly entertaining. I have no idea why it worked as well as it did.

I feel she’s very talented and has more personally than most interviewers in WWE right now that Reene is working more with Fox and Cathy left for greener pastures.

Papa Gallos is gonna be mad. First he lost NJPW on AXS and now no new weekly MLW. At least he has never seen the MLW Underground stuff from V.1 MLW.
Kinda glad we have let 3 episodes build up on the DVR.

Major League Wrestling today announced it has re-signed founding member of the Dynasty and Caribbean Champion Richard Holliday to a new multi-year deal. Holliday first joined MLW in 2018 and quickly emerged as a premier competitor, winning the World Tag Team Championship and most recently claiming the Caribbean Heavyweight title in January of this year.
“Richard has become a staple of MLW and its telecasts, helping to lead the charge in representing the league as a world class homegrown athlete,” said MLW CEO Court Bauer. “He is a dynastic competitor with qualities you seldom find. MLW is ecstatic to continue to feature Richard Holliday for years to come.”
“Anytime you’re making a decision for your future, all aspects in regards to it must be considered,” said Holliday. “MLW checked all of the boxes in terms of opportunity, presentation, creative process, and upwards mobility. Other offers were presented, and of course taken into consideration, but remaining with MLW felt like the best decision for me.”
Trained by Paul Roma in Connecticut, Richard Holliday turned pro in 2015. Holliday, a college football offensive lineman, debuted in MLW in 2018.
