RAW is in Austin, Texas this week, and we could be in for a first that hasn't happened for the entire time since the Beast Incarnate returned to WWE in 2012...
Last week, Paul Heyman declared that Brock Lesnar would cash in the Money In The Bank contract on either Seth Rollins or Kofi Kingston, only for Lesnar to discover that he had a year to decide what to do with the briefcase, so he changed his mind and walked off. Stephanie McMahon took issue with this, claiming that Lesnar and Heyman disrespected the Money In The Bank concept by declaring the cash-in and not going through with it, saying that the matter would be referred to the Board of Directors.
After the news broke out, Heyman announced that Lesnar would be proactive rather than reactive, stating that Lesnar will cash in the contract tonight on RAW at any time between 8pm and 11pm, and that it will be on Seth Rollins and the Universal Championship. Is it wise to tip Rollins off on roughly when The Beast plans to strike... and will Lesnar actually wrestle on free television? And will there be an outside force who might stop it? One BRO already expressed interest...
Super Showdown is on Friday, and The Undertaker has a match on it against Goldberg. While Bill will be on SmackDown tomorrow night, Taker will be in Austin tonight to build up the match. Will Taker say his piece, or will Goldberg show up a night early?
In the sole match announced for tonight, Roman Reigns once again takes advantage of the Roman Reigns Rule (aka the Wild Card Rule), teaming with his cousins The Usos as they take on Drew McIntyre and The Revival. Reigns is set to face Shane McMahon on Friday, and no doubt Shane O Mac will get involved here, but will The Revival get more revenge for how they've been treated by Jimmy and Jey?
Rey Mysterio will have to vacate the United States Title after suffering a shoulder injury while winning it from Samoa Joe, but Joe is demanding that the title is handed right back to him, as he claims his shoulder was up during Mysterio's winning pinfall. Will Rey hand it right back, or will Joe's pleas fall on deaf ears?
Lacey Evans lost her main bargaining chip in her quest to win the RAW Women's Championship from Becky Lynch. Last week on SmackDown, Evans got into an argument with Charlotte Flair which led to Evans losing to SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley, and after the match, Flair got the better of a brawl between them. What's worse, Lynch appears to have gained an ally in Nikki Cross, so it looks very much like the Sassy Southern Belle has missed her best chance to take the title off The Man...
All this, plus three time 24/7 Champion R-Truth (yes, he lost and won it back on a golf course), and more Firefly Fun House, tonight from 8/7c on USA!
