His daughter was a gawd damn baller from the clips of him coaching her team she was on her way to being one hell of a prospect. It is gonna be impossible to watch the game on tuesday because everyone is gonna be bawlin their eyes out but gawd damn if Lebron aint gonna ball out of his mind body and heart for that game. LeBron is going to have a ghost on his back. Heβs made no secret how much he admired Kobe and the fact they didnβt get to toast it up and just chill after surpassing the record is haunting I can see this being a thing for him to think on with his career and how much longer he plays Considering Lebron himself flies out to see all his sons games and then there is his other kids that will be playin ball to. I would be shocked if right now he isn't thinking exactly that...his mind and body says he can keep playing but this will make him definetly contemplate anymore than maybe 1 more season if that. But also as they say you can't live life in fear so idk but Lebron is absoloutley lookin at his family and thinking basketball aint worth it after this season.

I think more so just the time he wants to put into his family. Kobe has only been retired 3 years and he has very young kids that heβs leaving behind that he canβt raise I think a lot of NBA vets are looking at their family right now like how much longer should I push it because I want to spend every moment I can with you until it is my time to go LeBron will finish out his contract with the Lakers and honor Kobe but idk if he comes back to play ball when the 4 years is up

Watching NBA TV until the Rumble preshow starts. The Raptors and Spurs both took 24 second violations. That's really f***ing cool.

I often wonder now if Shaq regrets his personal feud with Kobe. You have to think he feels horrible for wasting time over trivial matters.

I tried going to Kobe's Wikipedia page and it took about five minutes for it to load. Starting to wonder if this news will break the internet the way Michael Jackson did.

Kobeβs final game was such a joy to watch, man.
Iβm a Celtics fan, so I never loved him when he was playing, but as a man, he had grown and matured into a truly great person.

I am absolutely numb. Kobe was one of my two heroes in basketball. I watched his entire career from beginning to end. As a Lakers fan, he gave me a ton of memories that will never forget. Not just the championships, his determination and clutch instinct. RIP Mamba, prayers to your family at this time. Also, prayers to all the victims of this crash. Makes me absolutely heartbroken that his daughter and another father and daughter died too.

When someone on here first posted the TMZ link, I went to Twitter who was already knee-deep in conjecture of if this happened or not and what exactly happened. Twitter was down for a couple minutes and then I went back to TMZ's site which was also down. The traffic must've been insane. It reminded me of early internet days, when it was just a scramble to find any information on breaking news and the legitimacy.

I was at the game when he became the Lakers all-time leading scorer. He made a lot of history on the court. Pretty cool that I witnessed some of that first hand.

Man, I'm now thinking of those debates of "Who's better? Kobe, T-Mac or A.I.?"
