You could tell it was a niche film though. I don't think it was ever gonna do great.

Well as for me, I went specifically to see the corny action. Most people I talked to it about went " that looks stupid!" and for me that was sorta the point. I can def. see why people wouldn't like it though.

Slim, why are we twins?
Honestly, thats what appeals to me the most out of grindhouse, is the campiness.

Yeah, I found it appealing because it just seemed like a "fun" movie. Corny, maybe, but it kept me entertained and on the edge of my seat. I prefer movies of this sort to most of them out there today.

I'm not sure what one would expect while seeing it OTHER than a camp schlock movie.
It looks fun, in a silly way. I might see it this week.

I ADORE campy movies.

One thing that I love about both Tarantino and Rodriguez is that they're movies are just that - JUST MOVIES. It's not like they say that they're out to change the world with these films or anything (hello, Al Gore and Michael Moore). They're pure entertainment, plain and simple.

It was everything I loved in a movie-in the past year or so I've REALLY gotten into the lower budget b-movies. This had action, gore, excitement and humor and NO big major love stories-at least not like a random comedy with a girl thrown in for no good reason-I really think it went over a lot of people's heads-I'm not calling anyone stupid, but I'm sure some of the younger audience, didn't get why it had to be so scratchy and the film skipped

I feel bad for people who don't realize it's a B-Movie.
