Can't wait to have Thorkell show up.
Also hope this will have the luxury of several seasons, as the turning point in this and the consequences on Thorfinn (the main character) are quite something. Would love to see how one would tackle that in an animated form.

Funny, I literally only heard of it a couple of days ago when I saw the Zombieland Saga spoof of it.

Can't wait to have Thorkell show up. Also hope this will have the luxury of several seasons, as the turning point in this and the consequences on Thorfinn (the main character) are quite something. Would love to see how one would tackle that in an animated form. Thorkell had a brief appearance at the start of the show, but yeah, it's gonna be fun to see him later on. Anyways, I read that the season would be 24 episodes. {Spoiler}With that length, I reckon that we're gonna get to see the Farmland Saga and the point where Thorfinn's character shifts. I kinda look forward to seeing how those who haven't read the manga see him have that big of a change in character. Like for a good chunk of the story, it's gonna be rather grim, but once that point is passed the tone of the story changes somewhat.
That said, I reckon that it'll be a while before we get into the second season. The manga is monthly, and sometimes it takes a while for things to progress. Like the most recent arc took one heck of a time, yet at the same time the arc can easily be compressed when its animated. It would be great if this could be a multiple season series, but realistically that's gonna take quite a long while.
