Hey gang, I'm headed to Boston this Wednesday through Monday for a wedding.
Any suggestions/hot tips/can't miss spots?
And, yes, "More Than a Feeling" is a great song.

I grew up there! I would definitely try to go to Fenway if you can. Love the North End, so much good Italian food. It's also near the Harbor which is a great spot. There's also a spot called Red Lantern in Back Bay that has the best Chinese food I've ever had. A bit expensive but really good. You also can't go wrong downtown visiting some of the historic spots along the Freedom Trail. The whole city is easy to get around in so you can see a lot in a short time.

The tea parties are bangin' if you can find one. Who do you think originally introduced Charlotte & Becky to the tea time life?

By the way chazraps you'll likely find a Cumberland Farms or two in the area, so you can finally try one of Ric Flair's current favorite drinks.

I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?

Maggiano's is a fantastic place to eat. It looks pricey, but it really isn't bad, and the food is to die for

I was in Faneuil Hall this past weekend. You'll find plenty of nice shops, bars, and restaurants in that area.

Seeing Marianne walk away, is not something I would recommend.

Start at the Aquarium... walk from the Harbor through Fanuel Hall and into the North End.
Boston’s got too much to take in on a day or two but that’ll keep you entertained for a day easy.
Great City for walking

I recommend the area around Fenway. I took a weekend there a few years ago and it was awesome. It felt intuitive getting around. Great city.

I'll second the aquarium, I went there a few years ago and it's really nice. It has a circular ramp that goes around a large tank, and it has a lot of interesting aquatic life in it. And the outdoor whale exhibit is great as well.

Great City for walking Much better for walking than driving. However a couple of my favorites you can reach by car (or take the red line to UMass). The JFK Presidential Library and the Edward Kennedy Institute for the United State Senate are right next to each other at the University of Massachusetts campus. Fascinating places if you're into history or goverment.

Hey gang, I'm headed to Boston this Wednesday through Monday for a wedding. Any suggestions/hot tips/can't miss spots? And, yes, "More Than a Feeling" is a great song. If you like hot pot you should try this place called Q that is right in the middle of the city. It is amazing stuff. Harvard Square in nearby Cambridge is a no brainer. Tons of stuff to do there. They have some nice cheap improv shows and also an Asian restaurant that has magic/comedy shows each week. JP Licks is a small chain of ice cream stores. You can go to the one in Jamaica Plain, but really any of them are good. Speaking of desserts Union Square Donuts in Somerville has some delicious donuts. Don’t think we only have Dunkin Donuts (there just happens to be a million here). Medford is my hometown, but not that much to do if you’re only here for a short time. Although they do have an all you can eat sushi place I’d definitely recommend.

It depends on what you’re looking for. The quintessential Boston tourist experience would be Faneuil/Quincy Market but they’re just overcrowded, overpriced, and frankly, overrated. I’d rather do Back Bay and walk around Newbury St. for a Boston experience if it was my first time.
As someone based there, on a summer day off, I’d probably check out something low key in Jamaica Plain or maybe head to Castle Island. Marina Bay in Quincy is also beautiful.

I visted Boston a couple of years ago, and really liked it. A really nice town to walk around in, with some nice green spaces.
Obviously there are the historic/cultural hotspots - Bunker Hill, Fenway Park, the USS Constitution, Fort Independence.
Faneuil Hall was a pretty sociable spot, and had lots of different food options of (likely) varying quality, as well as plenty of touristy gifts. The Harpoon Brewery had some good beer and snacks. Sam LaGrassa's is a famous sandwich place.
The Warren Tavern, near Bunker Hill, is worth going to. Supposedly once frequented by Paul Revere, it's in a nice, historic part of the city.
