Why are so many fans getting on Steve Clarke? He’s doing the best with what he’s got. And with all due respect (which pains me to say as I’m a Scotland fan) he doesn’t have that much to work with.

I wonder if his outburst after the abuse he received after the Rangers/Kilmarnock game last season might have played a part in this? I recall him saying how glad he was that he chose to move his family to England and escape all that sectarian nonsense. Although he's not wrong, it's probably not the greatest way to get the nation behind you for your next job.

Is there any way to switch Andy Robertson's nationality to English?

Very tough team. Barkley is resorting to diving to beat them.

So, following the international break, our injuries list is now as follows:
- Klose: Out for about 9 months - Zimmermann: Out until January - Hanley: Back training today, unlikely to start a game soon - Trybull: Out until next international break at minimum -Leitner: Hasn’t trained for 2 weeks due to injury - Aarons: Out until next international break at minimum - Vrancic: Injured and wont be available for next game - Godfrey: Major doubt for next game - Krul: Minor doubt for next game
*checks next opponent* ... *captains Sterling*

Liverpool win their 14th league game in a row & remain unbeaten for a full year. Newcastle with an early brilliant goal but Liverpool were up 2-1 by half time. The final score 3-1. Newcastle didn't play badly at all but scarily for me it didn't look like Liverpool got out of 2nd or 3rd gear. Even when we went behind we just settled into a routine knowing that the goals would come.

Missing Laporte and Kompany it would seem.

Yes I know it’s early but Liverpool will really start to believe it’s their year.

Still trying to work out how that wasn’t a penalty for that foul on Matip. Or why it didn’t go to VAR.

fun and VAR games at PARMA today, facing CAGLIARI ..... the away side won 1-3 the home side had TWO goals chopped off and ONE penalty ruled out, the away side only the ONE goal stricken from the record TWELVE minutes added on and they were ALL correct rulings
the penalty was a tricky one, it appeared to come off the defenders arm, as he moved it outwith his torso, but VAR to the rescue and it actually came off his chest

How many goals have Arsenal given away in the last 3 games through sheer stupidity? David Luiz & Granit Xhaka are liabilities and I don’t want to see us trying to play out the back like that again.
Man I hate modern football and this play out from the back bollocks. Old man rant over.
