Two goals are a "brace". Three goals a "hat-trick". Two hat-tricks are a "southampton".

The foxes are honestly looking like making this a race in three. They would be even better off if not for our late penalty at Anfield a few weeks ago.

Can somebody who has paid more attention to the Championship this season than I have tell me what the hell is going on with Stoke?

Congrats to Christian Pulisic for being the first American to pull off a natural hat trick in the Premier League.
Now if only he can do this for the USMNT...

Never heard the term “natural hat-trick” in football before. In other news, Xhaka, what a bell-end. Fans are entitled to boo you if they feel you’ve under-performed, don’t piss them off any more.

I saw some people on Twitter calling it that since it was 3 straight without anyone else scoring, like in hockey. Didn't know it wasn't really part of the football lexicon.

Not a phrase you hear here. It’s been called a “perfect hat-trick” as it’s a right foot, a left foot and a header.

I want to see a hat-trick where all three goals are given after a VAR review.

If you want some pure cringeworthy entertainment, check out Arsenal Fan TV's reaction videos, particularly Troopz' one, he's done some mental ones in the past but this has to be the first time you'll have wanted Robbie (the interviewer) to give him a right good punch or three

Granit Xhaka has become the prime example of the bang average footballer Arsenal seem to recruit these days. I remember when we first signed him and he was supposed to be our stopper in midfield. He doesn’t seem to do that very well and gives away far more fouls and stupid penalties. He has a pretty decent left foot but barely uses it. As an Arsenal fan that remembers top class midfielders like Vieira, Fabregas, Petit etc this guy just simply isn’t good enough.
Obviously the players & Emery & Wenger before him see something in him because he was voted captain by the team and regularly starts despite providing very little in the way of performances. I get the impression he is seen as a leader and is well thought of and that’s fine. But he just isn’t very good. Of course he isn’t the only player on our books that gets criticism (Mustafi is a nightmare central defender, Bellerin seems more concerned with his image than anything, Ozil has been widely inconsistent for the talent level he has and the fact some fans are upset he is being left out of the squad is laughable at this point, Luiz & Sokratis are also not the answer at centre back) but he is the one where you do have to wonder what exactly is the point of him and what does he do?
And no offence to Torreira, who I am a fan of despite his drop off in form after his good start last season, but he needs to shape up as well. Crying over this again shows the lightweight footballer we continue to attract since Wenger sold Vieira all those years ago.
It’s also clear Emery is not the long term answer. He hasn’t shook the club up enough since Wenger left. Our midfield is often times completely unadventurous & lightweight & our defence almost always terrible. Same problem under Wenger which still hasn’t been addressed. At the moment we won’t get top 4 yet again and we don’t deserve to.

I think that’s the first time since 2001 we’ve beaten Arsenal in a domestic cup tie, so I wasn’t exactly full of confidence going into the match.
