What does it tell you about modern day WWE when almost no one remembers this bump Owens took? I posted it on the first page Why I typed " almost no one."

Ronda hung upside down outside the ropes, then dropkicked and left to fall at WM made me cringe. There are some genuinely nasty ones in here though. When I saw the title I came in to post this. One of the reasons I would choose it is because it was so risky but so low payoff. A lot of these were high spots that at least on paper should be memorable. This was just a transitional spot in a match.

Couldn’t find a gif of it, but one of the reasons why i consider Miz to only be a great character and not a good wrestler is that time when he let a 40 something year old Truth fall straight on his tailbone without catching him on a outside bump. That was really shitty of him. I only remember this because this was around a time when Miz was really on the nose on this board, and there was someone that was saying that Miz was intentionally trying to murder R-Truth by doing this.

I had the pleasure running into Shane McMahon after Raw 25 last year. He couldn't have been a nicer guy, he took pictures with the few people that approached him and even took the time for a quick conversation with the small group. Somebody asked him what goes through his mind before he makes one of his giant leaps. He said "not too much, it's really quiet up there". Shane said that he blew out his intestines on that fall at Wrestlemania 32 and that Vince told him he had to come to Raw the following night. Shane tried to tell him that he was injured and couldn't make it. Vince responded with, "I didn't know you were a sissy, you must get that from your mother's side." We all cracked up laughing because, of course Vince McMahon said that to his son. .....f*** off, Vince. It legitimately annoys me how people find Vince to be this endearing old man. To me he's always been a psychotic POS.

It's almost impressive that he managed to f*** that up, because Truth was diving right at him and he moved out of the way.

The fact that he had his back turned and could have easily missed that table is crazy I saw that video the other day without ever seeing that match and I couldn't believe it. There was so much margin of error there. Theres no controlling once you go airborne. We all cracked up laughing because, of course Vince McMahon said that to his son. .....f*** off, Vince. ^100% that. f*** off. The world doesn't revolved around your little circus, carny. The thing is though you know he probably wouldn't have ever called a wrestler a sissy after such an injury cause rightfully there'd be a ton of outrage if it got out. I thought Taker legit broke his neck. He almost got counted out and I thought he was really KOed from how he landed and all the post stories of Snuka missing catching him. I remember seeing that and thinking there was absolutely no way the match was continuing after that, and then it turned out to be one of the best matches of all time and the bump only added to the drama.

Wasn't the intended bump but Seth Rollins kneeing John Cena's nose into complete oblivion
Not just because of that itself, but the fact Cena wrestled a whole match WITH IT and took several more bumps. Dude is insane for that.
In the same vein, HHH Pedigreeing on an announce table with an already torn up leg was not ideal.
Bit further back, The Big Show vs Kane vs Raven match where Raven nearly got legit run over by a Golf Cart driving Big Show.

What does it tell you about modern day WWE when almost no one remembers this bump Owens took? In the context of what both guys have done since then (not that much till Owens recent face run), that might be the most unnecessary scary spot/bump for sure. And yet, it’s memorialized by way of being in the current WWE signature intro for about a half-second.

What do you think it is? Shane's cell fall to me is still the one that hasn't been topped yet. I haven't even seen the match again due to that. Whenever I think about that match, I just think about that fall. Shane said that he blew out his intestines on that fall at Wrestlemania 32

What does it tell you about modern day WWE when almost no one remembers this bump Owens took? I think it's because the table is obviously gimmicked. You can see the crash-pad deflating after the camera cut. Foley went through a much flimsier table, and he missed it with his lower body.

Somebody seemed to be legit injured on the outisde during a ladder match, like broken bone bad. Then other wrestlers did some stupid and lengthy fall from the apron spot near them, was worried the whole time they'd land on the injured wrestler.
So much so I can't remember who was involved, I've clearly blocked the traumatic memory.
Thinking Sheamus or Sin Cara on outside and probably Santino on apron, maybe Cody or Ryder were involved to.

I don't know if it was a ladder match but it was a multi man match in which Dolph got thrown over the top rope I believe and in the process broke Wade Barretts forearm. It was near the announcers table and I believe you could hear him yell a loud f*** when it happened

What does it tell you about modern day WWE when almost no one remembers this bump Owens took? One of the Singhs took a bump similar to this in the last Punjabi Prison match.

This is the first one that immediately came to mind: By that time, Charlotte had dropped her like a dozen times.

This is the first one that immediately came to mind: A side/fallaway slam off the second turnbuckle would have been safer than what Charlotte did there.
