It's going to be interesting to see how wrestling keeps evolving in this era, with so many of the indies adopting the "comedic performance artist" aesthetic that causes so much divisiveness.

What was actually interesting to me, outside of how the idea was pulled off (I heard it floated around a few times over the past year, wasn’t sure if talent would go for it) is who else gets involved. Outside the wrestlers, the so called “key holders” (long story) were actors from Trinity College itself. So it means you don’t have to stick to wrestlers to have stuff happen but go outside the box. You could also tell Jack was having the goddamn time of his life.

Definitely seems like over the last few years, there have been many more minor celebrities appearing in wrestling of their own volition (vs say the Guest Host Raw era where you had folks who were clearly being forced by their agent or whoever and obviously didn't want to be there) and at small indy shows to boot.

To add some extra context to how weird this whole thing is, Jack basically gave up acting to start studying at Trinity just because it wasn’t what he wanted to do long term, so when Joffrey died, that was it for him in that front.
So this was his first proper acting role since he left GoT. And he basically played someone’s mind elf.

Jack Gleeson going to a carney business that some would describe as art. Nice.

I still love that Stephen Amell not only got involved with ROH but actually became a member of Bullet Club. And had his own "Vigilante Club" shirt made. Though he was probably the one guy from the Guest Host era that was a big wrestling fan.

So here's how the show ended. In a way all wrestling shows usually end; group singalong.

Man, I'm not a HUGE fan of Rory Gulak, but that is awesome. 2019 is a WILD year, ya'll.

Am I the only 1 who though this was the king from coming to America? I was so hoping it was going to start a feud between him and Randy Watson with Sexual Chocolate.

What a waste. One of the greatest heels ever and he’s not being used as a heel.
